And we still don't know if he was going for his gun, he could have been shot from the woods and the report was not picked up by the phone, just saying...

Shooting at them as they approached is not justified IMO, and there was a kid in the truck too.. ETA after 3 shots why 6 more ??

The local community is mostly retired military and the such. LOTS of contractors, black-water types. Its no wonder why this even developed in central Oregon......

They are going to be deployed there for a while, and the local FBI office will grow.

I fear you're right. I read an article about lawsuits filed by environmental groups that could shut down water supplies for Bend farmers/ranchers as soon as this spring or summer. I suspect that may be the next battleground. Or down in Klamath, where the landowners are also about to lose their water rights.

Oh wow... lucky for you that the authorities already admitted that Finicum and/or his vehicle was fired upon prior to the vehicle even stopping... so you don't have to believe your own lying eyes.

Yeah, I got the feeling that anyone starting up crap not from there would get "tuned up" real good.

Its a hot spot for activity for sure. There are some old school activists living there as well that didnt feel right. Big ones.

Its a great community though. A great mix of liberal hippies and hard core conservatives. No BS type people on either side.

I imagine if anyone will "play ball" its the activists who live VERY well.

Oh yes! That went right over my head at first, but yes. Definitely an intimidation tactic (among other things).

If we dare to trust the sincerity and the integrity of those accusing the FBI agents, then I expect the feds are attempting to intimidate the state/local officials as much as the people.

Did this video just come out? Isn't what's seen in this video contradictory to what the FBI is claiming?

I counted 3 audible shots BEFORE and WHILE he was stepping out, and there were more shots when they drove off.

The choice to murder Finicum instead of incapacitating him and bringing him to justice in a court of law using the multiple agents stationed for the ambush is an outcome that the FBI is responsible for.

I hope in this instance some small justice can prevail in exposing why the agent(s) didn't disclose why those 2 shots were fired into LaVoys back.

It's one thing for Mr Finicum to depart from the rule of law but it is an entirely difference matter when trained law enforcement specialists do it.
