Hi all. This is my first thread on here so here goes. I'm from the UK and recently returned from Amsterdam through Schiphol and noticed a plane I'd never seen before. It looked kind of like a stumpy 747 with small wings. Anyway I'll put the photo up for you guys to have a look. Thanks in advance for any help. GnarlyDon.

I wondered that too. I looked in earlier when there were no replies and there was two flags and some stars already. People must've really liked the op.

Anyway, let's see the pic then. I take it that it wasn't the one that brought you back from Schipol?
Cheers.

Oh yeah, starred too.

OP obviously has no access to a search engine (ie google)
Hence why it needs to make a thread requesting members use a search engine (ie Google) to do an invariably simple search for it.
That seems like the most logical scenario.... Surely..?

Weird isn't it.
And it is mutating.
Just goes to show how many bored, aimless people are sitting there refreshing the new posts page every 30 seconds...

That's true but I think I'd be tempted to ask here first as well.
Once its been identified, I bet you get better information here than a page with a spec list and a line drawing with a few cutouts.

Someone might even have a cool story about one.
Or it could be a one off.

ATS... The best for learn flying!!!

OP obviously has access to a search engine! I have asked on here as i thought it was the best place to come to get first hand information on what it is i saw. I honestly couldn't care less about flags or stars i am just here for information.

A former member found a crash site years ago. He posted a picture of a piece of instrument panel that he took, and in less than 30 minutes not only was the aircraft type identified, the specific aircraft and crash report were found.
