Many people in USA lost their jobs for just talking. And in Europe they even got to jail.

When I said a vacation from the Russian government...that meant sent to prison.

There is no actual freedom of speech in Russia...although they would lead you to believe there is, there isn't.

Jeez.

They spent 70 years trying to stamp out religion, imprisoning and murdering people who practiced their faith.

And now look at them....the faithful carry whips to punish.

It wouldn't look good for Putin to outlaw them for speaking out against him

This may be true. But still there is about as much freedom of speech in Russia as in USA.
