My two cents....
There is a site called ATS that is visit. I think it's a fine site and I wish the curators well. As it stands now, I like it the way it is.
If it turns into a pay site (or introduces some pay options), people will either pay or they won't. If the product has value to each individual consumer, those consumers will pay. If not, then they won't.
I'm not sure what the controversy (for lack of a better word) is all about.
