Is the antichrist dumb or just a friend of God?

Why would the antichrist be dumb enough to fulfill God's plan knowing full well what it is and what it means for him?

If the antichrist is as smart and charismatic as the bible seems to paint him as, why is he knowingly leading the way to his own doom? Wouldn't a better plan be to competely go against God's plan and NOT allow Jesus to come back? Is he working for God or is he against him? Because if the Second Coming is true, the antichrist allowed Jesus to come back by knowingly taking part in God's plan.

Is he a friend to Jesus and God? It sure seems that way if what the bible says can be believed because he knows God's plan and him complying would mean he wanted God to win all along. If God's plan is set in stone them the antichrist was doing his bidding all along and never was the true enemy but the one who heralded in Jesus' return.

Well for starters there's no such thing as any of this.

If you want to talk about stories written in books then we'll have to wait for the sequel or a screenplay adaptation or something.

The simplest explanation is that an antichrist would be someone who does not believe in God or his plan, and does not think of himself as an antichrist.
Think about the original models, like the king Antiochus Epiphanes, and Nero. Were they conscious of themselves as enemies of a Creator God? Surely not. They just exercised their power in ways that suited their own purposes. Only from a Biblical perspective do they appear as "God's enemies".
I suggest that even the expected antichrist would be quite unconscious that he was doing anything of the kind, and he would be recognisable as such only by the "saints" who suffered from what he was doing.

That statement right there says you have not been following the story because had they known ,they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory . Daniels vision is sealed up until the end and John was told not to write what the 7 thunders said ....Answer these two things and you may just be smarter then the principalities and powers in high places .Its a fearful thing to fall into the hands of a living God .

Didn't god and Satan sit around and play a chess game with Job, in the bible? Seriously, if any of this myth is true...heaven may be more corrupted than our own government by now.

God created Satan; perhaps they had a secret handshake deal?

The antichrist is not Satan. Satan is a fallen angel, one that is charge of the earth presently and it testing us. Now god sends him down to hell to watch over us there for a thousand years and then he is left out. Nothing says that Satan is going to be destroyed by god, in fact, Satan is always betting with god. Sort of like they are gambling partners, wagering on whether we will give in.

Sounds sort of like the Mafia to me.

I'll bet ten bucks that not very many people will see eternal life.

I can't be sure, but since the evil one's main MO is to deceive humans, the AC will probably be deceived and not know the full truth of what he is in for, but will be in deep enough that he won't have any excuse for what he does, but I just don't know for sure. Some people claim to be against God, and they don't even seem to have fear of it. I think it is also because they too are deceived, but deceived without excuse if they never repent of that sin.

Some people think they have sinned so bad that they can't be forgiven and so they continue making God an enemy in their hearts. This is also a big deception on them by the evil one.

To not be deceived requires a humble attitude and a loss or a shedding of pride and arrogance. And then also a lot of other important things. Evil powers are always plotting and scheming for someone to stay or become deceived about the true goodness and mercy of the Lord.

The AC will be very arrogant and full of vanity and pride.. Those qualities of corruption act as a very strong shield against ever breaking out of that deception they are a slave to.

Biblical speaking there is no THE Antichrist, there have been many antichrists or people against Christ and especially Christianity under the RCC. I guarantee you that the word antichrist isn't in the book your using as a prophecy, Revelation. It occurs in Johns epistles and is only used to describe humans, never supernatural.

Antichrist is not the correct term you must mean the beast. It's a common error made people who don't care about being honest and want to use Antichrist because it's cool sounding. You don't know the bible very well OR don't care about honesty and correctness. One of the 2.

Satan is not a fallen angel, at least not in Judaism and among people who are intelligent enough to figure out that he is only doing his job and doesn't have any power but that which God grants. Satan just means adversary in Hebrew and is used sometimes without referring to The Adversary or your "Satan" who is a scapegoat for all things evil.

God is in charge and The Adversary or Ha Satan is in his employ at his behest.

Grow up, stop believing in fairy tales, it isn't going to make you any better in God's eyes and evil comes from humans, not "satan."

God would do it the same way he accomplishes his will with ALL of us. And that is...through our weaknesses. Just like He did with Pharaoh when he sent Moses there and had Moses tell him to let my people go. Pharaoh's strength ( in his own eyes ) said ..who the hell is God ? And God knew he would say that...and that is what God wanted him to say. That is what gave God the oppurtunity to show Pharaoh ...who the hell God is..
So while we are making things go along the way WE want with our strengths...God is utilizing our weaknesses to get done what he REALLY wants done. And no I didnt think this up...Paul said it a long time ago. Btw...the reason that God does it that way .....is so that when everything is said and done down here we cant be standing up in front of everyone...telling them how God could have never done it without our help....yah .....Paul said that too. I'm sure it's going to pop a few balloons...sit back down Johnny and let's hear how it REALLY happened. .

Now that's a conspiracy I can get behind.

Personally, I always felt that Humanity as a whole represented the antichrist, but that's just my interpretation of the texts.

The Beast IS Jesus my friend. The Beast is the Empire and European royalty. And God shows several placed that he is in with the enemy and can make then do things to the Jews/Christians apparent disadvantage.
