Woman held for Moscow child 'beheading'

Police in the Russian capital Moscow have arrested a woman on suspicion of murdering a child after she was found carrying its severed head.

The woman, believed to be the victim's nanny, is suspected of killing the child before setting fire to its parents' apartment.

CCTV appears to show the woman, dressed in a hijab, walking near a metro station with the head in her hands.

This is just breaking, a woman reportedly arrested in Moscow holding a child's severed head shouting in Arabic.

Horrible stuff, really just disgusting words fail me.

I honestly cannot understand how anyone could do this to anyone let alone a child

A burka-clad babysitter has been arrested in Moscow after she walked through the streets carrying the severed head of a four-year-old girl. Eyewitnesses say the woman shouted 'Allahu Akbar' as she appeared near Oktyabrskoye Pole metro station in the northwest of the Russian capital and threatened

Good point actually am not being anti-Islamic but I think if I was a rich Russian who can afford a nanny anyone wearing a burka would be pretty low on my list

This is one of the most awful things I have heard in some time.

The tendency amongst some, would be to make a song and dance of the religion of the nanny, use it to further some agendas, and to muddy the already dirty water of this situation with innuendo and inference which has no place in the discussion.

Thankfully the Russian justice system appears to have done the sensible thing, and is treating the perpetrator of this horror as if they were insane, like any other suspect in any similar situation.

I cannot imagine though, what the parents of that little girl must be going through right now. The mother was reported to have fallen into a dead feint upon hearing the news, and one can hardly blame her. This is the sort of event that extends its horrid reach beyond the confines of the victim themselves.

All of these kind of Muslims that think it's OK to cut off people's heads especially a child...

It is rather clear by now that there are two kinds of Muslims aside from the factions I'm not counting those...
I'm sure any good Muslim can admit to this...

Let's see.

Wears a burka, beheads an innocent human being, sets fire to the dwelling after the murder, carries the head around the neighborhood, and shouts Allahu Akbar. Seems to be just another devout Muslim doing their part for the cause of the religion of peace and tolerance. Too bad she didn't blow herself up too, then she would surely make it to paradise as a martyr for Allah.

I would hire a mulsem in a head scarf.

I would not hire one in a burqa as to me it represents the extreme and bad side of Islam.

Sorry if I'm mistaking your meaning...

Nobody can say all Muslims prescribe to doing such insane and horrific killings. However having said that, it's not just a small coincidence that beheadings and other barbaric acts find it's roots in the Islamic religion. It sure doesn't seem like these type of senseless killings are not going away anytime soon.

Al I know, if that was my kid, they would need the Russian army to hold me back from tearing this women apart piece by piece.

Apparently in the article it says the woman claims to have lost a child. Which is tragic and also may give her an alibi of diminished responsibility if the laws are similar to the UK's.

However, she deliberately waited until both parents and the elder child had left the flat before doing anything. The body of the little girl apparently shows signs of a violent death.

She torches the evidence and starts a fire which 3 people had to be rescued from - so there could have been more deaths then she parades about shouting Allah whatever with the severed head in a bag which she waves about and even gets the head out. I think the Russians are being extremely gentle with her by putting her in a psychiatric ward. So much of her actions just seemed planned to get the most publicity. She also wanted the parents to know she had killed their little girl. There's a bit too much beheading of people going on and when its done to vulnerable kids its gone on too long. My heart goes out to the parents. There's nothing about them in the article so we don't know if they were Muslim themselves or simply gave someone the job, probably someone who made themselves appear to be a good and trustworthy person. There is another child involved there also who will probably miss their sister.

That poor child,and parents.Jesus how bloody awful.. But seriously,how can people hire as babysitters,anyone else than either people they have known for a long time,and is Known in their community for being sane,sensible,good people? I cannot speak for anyone else,but i either take my child with me,or his older 18yo sister would be the one babysitting,or my best friend and her 18yo son.I wouldn't even leave my kids with aquaintances or neighbours who Are sane and fairly nice people,if they have a dog in their yard i am not sure of. My neighbours took in such an abandoned dog,of a breed tending to be biters(and no,not a pitbull,a South African breed) I said to my son you don't go into their yard anymore. Too right a week later he bites their granddaugter so badly she has to have surgery.

Just hideous this,almost beyond comprehension.
