He said it was implied, that Gabriel came to her right before she knew she was pregnant and that is true.

He told her she was pregnant, thats the real moment of conception if you want to look at it close.

It makes sense.

I am not but thanks for asking .This thread is about a angel named Gabriel who is well known through out the scripture .The Holy Sprite who is not well known but mentioned many times in scripture . And about the Quran and the hadiths who mention them .The sources for them must come from Old and New testament so using the original sources can clear up the confusion . Its not a small subject and a opinion on later commentary without citing original sources may be the problem . That is if the OP and others have questions about the subject . Hammered ? nope :>)

Before who was pregnant ? Most women can figure out that they are pregnant .Marys husband was told by the angel and Elizabeth's husband was told that she was going to become pregnant . There are different accounts that you might like to become familiar with in order to get a clear picture .Using sources 600 years removed may not be your best choice ....

what I find interesting comes from genesis 19:5 where...the 2 angels went to Sodom

They called to Lot, "Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them."

Further to this when the 200 angels (Nephilim) were cast out of heaven they consorted with Humans.

It is not a far stretch to suspect that Mary was impregnated by Gabriel physically, hence the miracles and superpowers attributed to Jesus.

All these controller religions have a common heritage and a common agenda...keeping man stuck in this matrix here recycling souls; "food for the demiurge" Jehovah, allah, god whatever

I don't think it's a stretch either.

Angel rape? Yikes.

Both ways too, Angels raped human women

Men tried to rape angels they apparently thought were men.

Offering up your own daughter instead.

That's why I like Islam, one God is plenty. I have a hard time believing God human sacrifices his own son, that's not cool.

But if it was just a trick, I can stomach it.

Gabriel did not impregnate Mary, the Mother of Jesus Christ.

Gabriel informed her saying this is how it will happen

Lu 1:34, 35 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

And an angel (we are not told it is Gabriel) tells Joseph that the child was a conception of the Holy Ghost

Mt 1:20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

The Holy Ghost and the power of the Highest is how she conceived, Gabriel did not impregnate her.

I could easily infer with solid evidence that was the moment of conception, and Gabriel delivered her the Christ seed. Not sexually, spiritually. An angel is a messenger from God and has been given a duty to fulfill, at God's behest.

That still doesn't take away the possibility of Gabriel impregnating her with the Holy Spirit. Like I said, Gabriel is a combination of two words that when put together mean "man-God", which is what Jesus supposedly was.

I can't blame you for not wanting to consider it though because that would be too similar to the Nephilim story, and as we know Jesus is a man of great renown, just as the Nephilim are said to have been.

Nimrod was mighty too, of great renowned he was a Rephaim, a descendant of Canaan whose mother, Hams wife, had the gene s of a Nephilim. Possibly dormant, activated eventually through incest or some other circumstances that activated it in the giants of Joshua and his conquest.

I just believe it where it tells me that the Holy Ghost was the one to cause conception in Mary by the power of the Highest when he overshadowed her.

For me it is sola scriptura by faith alone that God preserved his truth in his word just like it was in the originals that are no longer available and have not been available for a very long time.

Its unfortunate you think that the KJV is all the world has to learn about God. Judaism is full of traditional teachings that were lost to Christianity for a long time.

The book of Enoch
The Testament of Solomon
Jubilees
Jasher
Maccabees 1-4

Even the New Testament is both distorted and incomplete.

Koran corrects what Saul destroyed.

I don't have anything to take up, God hasn't denied me the texts. I read about all sorts of Jewish tradition in extra biblical writings. I have a vast knowledge of the bible itself and know what is believed in Judaism about the Old Testament is not what the churches have taught.

Things are complicated, but I'm not complaining. God is Good.

Why are you so hostile? Broaden your horizons, the bible is not the only thing God wants us to learn.

I had broad horizons for 33 years. Drug addict for 20, smoked cigs and drank alcohol of 21 years, let 3.5 million dollars slip through my hands in drug money, I was member of the church universal and triumphant, New Age practices, sunset beach drummer, I had 1 failed marriage, then I met Jesus Christ.

I have since remarried, no drugs, cigs, alcohol, I have three great kids, I work hard to feed my family and give them what they need. I am content with what we have in life and I await my union in heaven with Jesus Christ.

I owe all I am to Christ and the Holy Bible, sorry but it is all I ever want to know anymore.

So you equate broad horizons with a life of sin...weird, I thought it just meant to learn something different for a change.

I equate broadening your horizons with learning, reading studying other cultures, other religions.

Atheism to Zoroastrianism, we are all God's children. Only 2 out of 7 billion people on earth are Christian, and that's just claimants, the number of true adherents is so much lower. And even they are lacking in substance.

To each his own I'm a former user myself so if it helps you, who is to say it's bad? Not me.

I have read those books, I have Manley P Halls books, I read the Egyptian book of the dead, I have read the Bhagavad Gita that you are so proud about that you read. I have sat on mountain tops meditating, I have been in Hopi Indian sweat lodges, I have eaten lotus flowers in Tibet with Buddhist monks and walked the Himalayas, I visited Zen Temples, and temples long unused in the jungles of Vietnam and Thailand. I practised Thai Chi and martial arts. I have had broad horizons

You see know nothing about me, however I like Paul count it all as dung and press on toward the mark in Christ Jesus.

Good night and I am done with you
