Thank you so much! I have often said that it is the little things in life that mean the most, perhaps a kind word or encouragement to another person, compassion or maybe inspiration of some kind and just being there when someone needs you to be with a little love. Many people do this do this all the time and don't realize that they are affecting people's lives.

May people here have affected my life deeply on many levels.

People come in to our lives for a reason. When we have the great fortune of finding our kindred spirits, or soul mates,
(soul mate does not always apply to a lover) it is indeed a special occasion, and gives us a reason to celebrate.

Well said my friend, well said! You know, It was TNmockingBird who told me it was my ATS Anniversary. I was keeping a close eye on the date knowing it was coming up and then completely forgot about it. When I got up and saw this thread and started reading all the replies, I cried, I laughed and I marveled at he outpouring of love and support from so many people, it even brought the lurkers out. LOL It has touched me deeply. I like how you said, "The heartbeat of ATS still beats."

From the admins and staff to the members, we are ATS and we are legion. LOL

Since she (Iamschist) passed away last August, I haven't had the heart to post on here much anymore, but I still value the site and its amazing people and browse regularly.I will always be grateful to ATS for bringing her into my life. She came into my life and orbited my planet awhile and blazed off like a comet into the eternal cosmos.

So what I am trying to say is well done Cody, lets celebrate people who we admire and respect and let them know that intelligent, compassionate & reasoned intellect is a rare but valued trait these days and should be held up as an example to us all in how we treat people esp those we disagree with.
Also we must remember that every post or reply we make has the potential to spark a lifelong friendship.

What you wrote is beautiful! Yes, every post or reply does indeed have the potential to spark a lifelong friendship.

You know when I first joined 8 years ago, I was just a person lost in a sea of strangers from all over the world and as time went by, I met and made some of the most amazing people, some I call 'friend'. We have some really beautiful souls on ATS. And some wonderfully fun and crazy folks.

We don't interact as much as I would like, but somehow I know if I needed a place to crash, and I u2u'd you, your door would be open.

I've met several members, and been their guest, hopefully soon I will be in a position to offer the same hospitality.
