The Fallout series starting with Bethesda's Fallout 3 and move up through Fallout 4, has some great old music in them. Songs from the 1930's on up through the 1960's.

Some of the music (only some now mind you), especially from Fallout New Vegas, I actually remember hearing when I was a very little kid.

That said, I was doing something a few nights ago and ended up having one of my MP3's auto play on my computer while I was playing Fallout 4. It was some 1970's disco, and about got me killed in the game since I was laughing too hard to concentrate on the game. That gave me an idea to put together a video with a melody of some songs from that era. I already had a lot of video clips, as I've been recording while playing here and there.

So for those of you wanting to hear some disco while watching Fallout 4, here you go:

Songs in order:

ABBA - Waterloo
Donna Summers - Hot Stuff
KC And The Sunshine Band - Get Down Tonight
KC And The Sunshine Band - I'm Your Boogie Man

Enjoy!

Because I was a child of the 70's and early 80s and grew up with it!

Be happy I didn't put in "Brick House", "Super Fly" or..... "Freak Out"

I wish F4 had some Bee Gees Stayin' Alive for when I feel brave and put it on Survival mode

The soundtrack in F4 is still amazing though. When your trekking through the burned out monuments during a radiation storm and that perfect song comes on the radio that makes you realize the world of Fallout isn't just science fiction, it's actually a real possibility, it's quite humbling.

Speaking of Fallout becoming a reality, y'all take a look at this:

When I saw this on Facebook today, my first thought was "OMG! They made a Pipboy!!!!!!", hehehehehe.

Come on man, really? You are going to put up disco against soul? Soul wins hands down, every single time. Disco is as soulless as it gets and was a blight upon the 70s. The repercussions of disco's stain still echo through the terrible music of today.

And that is why it is great.
Sometimes the impact of a meteor causes such devastation that the landscape is forever shaped by the event.
Disco was musics meteor strike, now forever destined to be used ironically, and to shape hipster beats till the end of time.

Holy crap that's amazing. Someone should make a mod for Fallout that features modern Apple products, that would be pretty funny.

Yes, I know.

Except that is not what my parents listened to, and the fact that not only do I like the music you just posted, but disco too.

Some of us are kind of strange like that. We actually like all different kinds of music.
