Not the first time she had to resort to bribes. She apparently phoned up some Labour MP's trying to win their vote in return for more money for their constituencies. I'll also never forget her bribing the DUP with a billion pounds so the Tories could form a government.
Then we have Labour who like to bribe the general public with massive increases to minimum wage and scrapping uni tuition fee's, even for people who already owe tuition fees.

I don't think she cares how bad her final deal will be, she will just want any deal that will get accepted in parliament. Then she can resign and say she delivered Brexit, which obviously won't be a real Brexit. Then we will see the end of the Tory party.
Looks like Tory party is already done. Apparently it is currently looking like Farage may get more votes that the Tories at the next GE. This may influence a hard BREXIT! All very frustrating but interesting.

This one of the main reasons we should proceed with a no deal BREXIT because it is clear that the EU wants to either screw us or influence a remain!

The EU were never going to do anything to make the process easy for us.

The idea we can leave with a deal is nonsense.

If we leave at all, and I rather doubt it now, it will be without a deal.

But businesses have had 3 years to prepare for this possibility.

It now looks like there will be a non-legitimate
2nd referendum and because the new 18-20 year olds will be voting and because the electorate have been literally
scared to death, there will be a 52-48 vote Remain. And a coup against the constitution, the people and democracy will have been well and truly done!!

Leaving on the 31 Oct without a deal is now very unlikely. The only thing that could possibly allow that to happen if the Labour and Tory BREXITeers vote for it because they are now afraid of the BREXIT party and do not want to lose their
jobs at the next GE and are driven by pure self interest!

These are the 2 possible outcomes for me!! Thoughts?

The EU has to agree to any further extention which I would hope they were neither

asked for or agree to....... So by default we leave 31st Oct. without a deal

That'll do me!

That is the desire of many who see the disaster for the country BS as just flock scaremongering and doubtful that 10% of it is reality. There will be issues but we will have ridden them in 2 years.

However, the REMAIN coup is in full swing and I would be surprised but elated if we did a no deal BREXIT and then we could wait for FREXIT and IEXIT to follow. I now smell another referendum with REMAIN on the ballot paper when it should only be NO DEAL BREXIT or renogiate and if we haven't got another deal by Dec 31st then we lave on no deal!
And if it is then it will be 52 Remain and 48 Leave! And that is another problem!

I now think that Brexit wont happen.

We wont leave without a deal (the PTB wont allow that), the EU wont give us a mutually advantageous deal, ergo we wont leave.

We wont leave in any event on October 31, who are they kidding?

John Bercow and the Remainers that dominate The House of Commons will stop at nothing in their efforts to derail and/or dilute Brexit.

The Brexit Party will win the by-election tonight but just watch the spin that Adam Boulton et al in MSM put on it in an effort to push the message that no-one really supports Brexit anymore.

I know I keep on saying this but how much more do we have to witness before people agree that we need urgent and radical reform of our unfit for purpose political system?

Unfit and inadequate is putting it mildly! I will vote for the BREXIT party at the next GE and suspect that 10 million will!

Potentially, considering in the Peterborough by-election yesterday, which has historically been a swing seat for Labour and the Conservatives, the Brexit Party came second with Labour winning just by 2%...

As you can see, both Labour and Conservatives lost a lot of votes from the last election.

Vote Conservatives, get Labour is the new message.

EDIT: And notice the BBC headline.. "Peterborough by-election: Labour beats Brexit Party to hold seat".
BBC always trying to portray the Brexit Party negatively.

Very disappointed with the result, really thought The Brexit Party would win.

I could very easily try and put some spin on it, I suspect many from all sides will, but it is simply what it is.

As an aside; it's clearly more evidence of just how useless opinion polls are - the bookies had a Brexit Party victory at a best priced 1/6.

Yeah I'm disappointed too. It would have made our current politicians really take notice, but it's still a fairly decent result in my opinion. You can still get good info from polls, especially if you go into the actual data. I used to work in market research for 15 years so I have a lot of experience. As for the bookies, their odds are usually determined by how much people bet and not always what the bookies think will happen. So maybe some Brexiteers have lost a lot of money.

The ordinary person should be afraid of that be very afraid......

Labour has plans for us millions of us who have worked hard to buy our homes.

Jeremy Corbyn has his eyes on a punishing tax raid on ALL private home owners

who have maybe strived for that extra room, a conservatory, a loft extension,

and outside living space for the summer, and which has been achieved entirely

at their own expense.

They are going to pay through the nose for their aspirations.

Corbyn is not a fan of aspiration, he is looking toward getting rid of the hated

council tax with a *progressive property levy* (that includes the small one bed

roomed flat etc.) It is designed to penalise those who have worked hard to

improve their own life style.

# Council tax will be replaced by a property tax to be paid by property owners

not tenants, based on regular updated property values, there would be a

progressively higher rate of taxation.

Tax liability would be based on land value, those with gardens will certainly be

more penalised. One way or another those with moderately modest homes will

be hit hardest. Single occupants who currently enjoy a 25% discount for single

occupation will no longer receive it (all those OAP's who have lost a partner?)

Labours aim is not to improve and lift peoples lifestyles and aspirations as a leveler ....

but to drag people down to one level with the constant ringing in the ears of *For

the many not the few*

Even before the publication of *Land For The Many* the non-partisan
Institute for Fiscal Studies recconed that Corbyns policies would result in
the biggest tax burdensince 1949.

And some people are concerned about a *no deal Brexit*

Be careful what you wish for

I am not so negative about the BREXIT party not winning. It was only 683 votes and when you consider that the BREXIT party does not yet have a set of policies (which they will have come the GE). I think the 683 could be
turned over at the next GE.
Labour are in a mess and not electable!! Nor should they be and I have been a Labour voter all my life!!
Lets see what happens when the next Tory leader is chosen (and it will probably be Boris). Many Tory MP's
will be worried about losing their jobs at the next GE if we don't leave which may influence the outcome by 31 Oct.

I agree. There are even calls for the new Labour MP who won the Peterborough seat to be suspended as it has been revealed she has liked anti-semitic posts on Facebook. And of course she still has Jeremy Corbyns full backing. The Labour party are the racist party at the moment.
