I just want to echo crappiekat's sentiments, and invite you to visit the Shed if you ever need/want someone to hang out with. The 'family' in there
are very loving people who always help me through rough times.
Relatives like to take pictures. It's what they do. Just grin and bear it. Someday you might appreciate looking back.
As for growing older making you feel wiser, it never does, not until you get old enough to look back on the young and see how foolish they sound
because they haven't been where you've been. It's just racking up life experience. At 28, you're wise compared to people in their mid-teens. In
another ten years, you'll be wise compared to people in their 20s. That's just how it works.
You don't have to believe me. Just wait and see. I'm pretty sure from what I've seen so far that it'll happen to you.
Also, I prefer Joel's take on Jack, even though his Captain Jack was a heroine dealer.

28....the age where my head finally started to emerge from my ass. Its still not all the way out...but its getting better.
While it doesn't feel like "a big birthday", what you do between the ages of 25 and 30 will define the rest of your life.
Sorry to hear about your family blues. Thats painful. But lace up your boots, because there's a world full of asses you need to kick while you
conquer the rest of your life.
Here is a link the Shed that our ladies had welcomed you too. You can go over the first page to get an idea about the shed and shoot over to the last
page and backtrack at your leisure. The bar there is great and we have pixies that love to cook and bake and faeries that clean up after everyone. Oh
and we have dragons and other cool things too, but most of all, we share our daily lives with each other and it can be fun and interesting.
Live each day as it is your last. Listen, learn, share and help others. Give your time and knowledge to others. Remember we're all in the same
journey, just different time zones.
