Oh I understand that, and I was wrong about the nationality aspect as Septic Scot pointed out.
But the CPS getting a conviction for an emo being abused is unlikely to be included through case law while the 5 specific groupings are prescribed as they are.
Just as hateful in my opinion yet the law protects a few specific groups.
Hate crime was not established by precedent, it was an act of Parliament.

Until precedent is set it remains not a hate crime.

But they are still dead. Killing someone is killing someone whether you do it because they are gay, straight, white, black or because you do not like the shirt they are wearing.
Agreed. And the person committing a single homicide, and the person committing hate crimes would both be punished. But you see, there is something slightly more sinister about a hate crime. To me, anyway.

That's a very far stretched opinion. Can't tarnish all people for the actions of a few.
At the moment on UK news it just mentioned that it could have been a racial attack!

"Found on childrens playground"
Muslim....not alarming
Immam.....screams radical.
Conclusion....probably caught trying to rape kids because he didn't "get any sex" for a long time and that's what radical beliefs allow. That leads to bumps on the head.

Perhaps you're purposely being a tad slow today!!
I employ a "Employement Law Firm" so I guess they know what they are doing, perhaps you missed that in my post????
I am fully aware of the law, what I said if you wish to take another gander at my post was "People in protected groups when up against the wall, will play the "Race Card", Gay Card" etc etc, nothing to do with the law and the reason it was written, people abuse the system to their own ends!
If you really believe that this does not happen in the UK, then you are living under a rock!!

Do you really think the death of one Imman is going to cause anything? I think not, I think you may be sensationalising the story when there's no need to. If all the terrorist attacks on the UK have not caused problems with the UK populace, I doubt very much the death of one man will either!!
