Yes, there was one man but he dropped out for lack of support. His name is Rand Paul.

Ya, it seems the most normal get the least support. Rand Paul was one. The next sane one left on the GOP side is John Kasich, who I like alot, but he won't get enough support to carry him through. On the Dem side is Bernie, but the socialist label and the Clinton political machine will bring his run to a halt in the long run. It's almost like the couch potatoes gravitate to the crazies.

Have a brother in law that claimed to have received the calling to minister so he quit a good job, drug my sister and small son to Memphis to degree in baptist theology.

Went to a Memphis mega church one Easter Sunday and witnessed the personal desires of grandeur in his eyes and emotion as they paraded all of the exotic animals down the isles and onto the elaborate stage. Later received the calling to go to Africa to minister. Supposedly, a calling from God but knowing he had earlier bought a rifle that's shoots a shell the same size as my thumb with the only real purpose in taking big game African Safari, but God called him to go to Africa. A complete failure there.

The next event was his calling, by God, to go to Montana to establish a church. Stayed there 3 years and mother had to finance their return before they starved to death there. Same as Africa. Long desire to live in Montana but "God" called him.

After returning home, he sent out resumes where a small rural church literally begged him to come minister to them and he turned them down. My grandfather was a Methodist minister that never refused any persons need for ministry. This was all the evidence I needed to see the personal hypocrisy present in too many "believers".

He has been back to his old job for 10~ years now. Still blabbering out long drawn out blubberingly irrelevant graces every meal.

Admittedly, I haven't done much research on Kasich but I have the impression that he is not without his contacts and relationships, similar to most of them, with Wall Street and the criminal bankster mob.

Ok.

I guess my first comment was not too far off base.

.

"In a sermon last year at an Irving, Texas, megachurch that helped elect Ted Cruz to the United States Senate, Cruz' father Rafael Cruz indicated that his son was among the evangelical Christians who are anointed as "kings" to take control of all sectors of society, an agenda commonly referred to as the "Seven Mountains" mandate, and "bring the spoils of war to the priests", thus helping to bring about a prophesied "great transfer of wealth", from the "wicked" to righteous gentile believers. link to video of Rafael Cruz describing the "great transfer of wealth" and the role of anointed "kings" in various sectors of society, including government, who are to "bring the spoils of war to the priests".
www.alternet.org...

The section of "Christianity" thats into this reasoning really are some very special dumbasses. Notice that all the captured wealth is spoze to be brought back to the "priests".....i.e. Kenneth Copland and the like......which if it is as you put it, the government part, unconstitutional. And Glenn Beck still can bring himself to denounce the clearly plagiarized and manufactured work of the founder of the sect he follows.....so I wouldn't put much faith in any of his understandings a bout jack squat.

Are you sure that's not how he talks to god? I'm wondering where he got that monologue from God.

It scares me when candidates claim they talk to God. Dubya said he talked to God about Iraq. Apparently God led him astray because it turned into one big clusterf#ck.

Me too. I worry when politicians start invoking god...

LOL. You would worry if God started invoking God.

If that happened, I'd be a believer. Cause then I'd have evidence of God. Though nice of you to deflect the topic to talk about me. Gotta love the ad hominem snipes...

By that you mean, just say whatever you think sounds believable according to your preset paradigm and get a bunch of gullible people to repeat it like it is factual?

Actually if you notice none of the article has him in quotes and if you watch the video and listen to the audio he never actually said that.

But among all of them, as governor, he has created jobs, balanced a budget, worked with the other side. Every politician has contacts and relationships, but he has seemed to have made decisions for the well being of all his constituents, not just the lobbyists and donors.

You are assuming there is a God. You'd make a great politician who panders to the evangelicals i.e. Ted Cruz.
