Please quote me saying anywhere on any thread with links where I said the money was going to be taken from you?

I understand it might take you a while I have probably close to a 1000 threads and tens of thousands of posts.

Nobody wants your damned cows. You ludicrous fearmongers who keep espousing "well all get paid the same!! Horrors" when no one has EVER tried to do such a thing. There are, and have been, differences in salary everywhere.

As to fruits of our labor......I'm estimating I make my job about 3000 to 10000 dollars a day. Am I paid that much? Not even close! Is it a technology cost? No. I could buy the machine to do my job for 60k with a small business loan, and pay it off in a week. But the industry is set up with certs and regs just to keep independents from getting in. So, no, unless you are a business owner, you do not get to keep the fruits of your labor. It's wealth distribution perpetrated by the ownership class.....but I guess that's OK with y'all.

I can guarantee I've read more books than you sweetheart. And this will be my final reply to you unless you have actual issues, facts, and ideas to discuss. I am not the topic of the thread. But your response isn't unexpected. Feel the Bern
let your body get used to it. You'll be experiencing it awhile. Probably about 8 years.

Sorry but you'll be disappointed. Bathe only uses memes and fox talking points. I think he/she may be one of those old fortune telling machines where you pull a lever, but instead of your future, a fox one liner comes out.

I may be cofused, but 8 years ago, the youth were angry and voted for change. They got Obama AND a super majority.

Nothing changed...at least not for the better.

And what was promised then, is what is promised now...we will take from those who work hard and give it to the lazy.

I've been dancing with this lot for years now. The song remains the same. This is the 4th presidential election I've spent on ATS. Wait till the nominees are official. Then the real fun begins.

You can't tell the difference between Obama and Bernie? My guess is you're a low information voter. So let me give you some more information.

Clinton, Obama, and Hill are the same. Big corporate money. Maintain status quo. Talk sort of leftist to appease the sleeping Democrats while lining the pockets of corporate buddies.

Then you have Bernie. No corporate money. Common sense policies. OBVIOUS solutions. There you go. You have more info.

And you think working 40-60 hours a week for next to nothing building wealth for these parasites is lazy? Dude lol If you're working more than that you should really revaluate your priorities.

This is one of the main messages people are missing when I post about Bernie. It's a shift, it's a change, it's a message that we are tired of how things are.

I've never once posted "I love all of bernies ideas and worship the guy"

People respond to me as if that's my mentality on the issue.

My mentality on the issue is that Bernie having any amount of popularity is sending a message. A message that we are fed up with our government and their backers.

I would love if this guy got in, Congress and Senate were changed out, and things really changed. No I don't need free college or Healthcare, people seem to think I have my own agenda when my vote is going to this guy.

My biggest wish is that America wakes up and takes a stand against those that they have never believed they could stand up against. In my mind, Sanders is the mascot for such a movement.

Not his exact policies, but his "stick it to the man" anti bank, anti super pac, anti corporate corruption stances.

Good to see McCarthyism is alive and well on ATS. Let's kick out those damn commies and liberals. They are hiding everywhere. paranoid America. Always needs a bogey man to rally the folks against. Not satisfied with the Muslim scare, better move back to the old Cold War commies.

A crazed Muslim just went on a machete attack at an Arab Christian's diner here in my home town last week. But you're right it's all a figment of our imagination.

Oh. So you make more than $250,000 a year then? Congrats lady I would have had no idea! I realize change is difficult for everyone but the tax structure for your income level only changes by 4 percentage points under Bernie's plan. For someone of your high income 4 percentage points seems measly especially when you'll be saving at least $5,000 annually on healthcare.

But of course if I am mistaken about your income level then your tax rate changes not at all. And you still save $5,000 per year on healthcare. I'm pretty sure you can keep your cow.

It would be sweet if the red scare people would just...read. Read Bernie's plans instead of blindly parroting the crap they hear on TV from the "Liberal Media"

I'll say that then. I LOVE ALL OF BERNIE'S IDEAS AND POLICIES! Regardless of what happens in the end he's dragging the DNC to the left kicking and screaming and crying all the way.

Millennials got the Boomers beat all to hell in numbers and they don't suffer from the same socialist pinko commie indoctrination the Boomers can't de-program from. And they love Bernie. I've never been more proud of our young people. And thankfully there are plenty of older people like me who are on board as well.

I have never loved all of anyone's ideas and policies. Each have strength and weaknesses.

Have you studied "free" Healthcare in other countries he wants to emulate? I think a move in the right direction is needed and he will provide it, but full on European Healthcare means you either suffer until it's an emergency room visit, or you pay a crazy amount for a private doctor.

Just one example. Now, I don't believe America could go full on European style Healthcare in just a few years, and I do believe we need reforms in those areas, so I actually do believe what is actually put into effect may be better than what we have now .

Find any coherent sentence that uses the phrase "socialist programs". There is no such phrase. You made it up.

Sorry, but no, because you pay taxes towards the general welfare does not mean you own the means of production or distribution. People payed taxes in feudal states – must be for those "socialist programs" they new so much about.

The nazis used the plutocracy rhetoric as propaganda, something it seems you've eaten right up and are using yourself. Yes; a cabal of evil rich men are running a democratic country, all while at the same time you are voting for an admitted socialist. How can you say this with a straight face?

I haven't just studied socialized medicine I spent most of my adult life living in Canada and Finland. I also have a chronic condition which requires I receive medical care regularly starting at age 25 and will continue to do so until I die.

Socialized medicine is better. I got BETTER care. The whole wait time argument is such crap. I've never waited for care in either country any longer than I've waited in the US. And I'm fully on board with paying slightly higher taxes for all the benefits you receive in return. Although in Canada I actually paid LESS in income tax than I do here.

All I get for my taxes now is war. I'm really tired of giving the government interest free loans so the corporations can use our military to make the middle east and third world "business friendly".

I definitely agree with you about war. Far too many taxes justified in the name of wars which just destroy the livelihood of other countries. Have you seen Libya pre and post "American aid"?

There's many arguments about health care - supporting millions of immigrants, America has nearly ten times the amount of people as Canada does, our country has already sold out to special interests like big pharma.

I'm not agreeing with all of the arguments and actually look forward to a single payer system, rather than the turd that is currently called national health care.

I am also not saying no one's arguments hold any merit.

I am acknowledging that even with perceived weaknesses, it's still far better than what is current.

And if Bernie was a Marxist Socialist, you may have a point there.
But he isn't.

He's like FDR. He's like Eisenhower. He's like what the Republican party was back before it became injected with crazy.

The worst thing you can have is a leader that doesn't care about their people, is it not?
Who are the alternatives? What are the alternatives?
You want full scale revolution?

Trump? He's a Fascist. Clinton? She's an Oligarch. Cruz? He's a Theocrat. Rubio? He's an Oligarch. Carson? He doesn't know what he's talking about. Rand Paul? He dropped out of the race. Ron Paul? He's not running. Jeb Bush? He's an Oligarch. Bloomberg? He's a Plutocrat. Kasich? He's an establishment pawn.

You know what, maybe Bernie Sanders is a scary Socialist (even though he's nothing like the "Communist" Socialists everyone against him seem to like insinuating he is.) But maybe he is. Maybe he's secretly a Communist, but the thing is, it doesn't matter. He's not going to turn the US into Soviet Russia. It will not happen.
Sanders, at the very least, cares about the citizens of America. He cares about other humans, he wants to make their lot in lives better, which is more than I can say for any other candidate.

I'll tell you exactly why so many people like Bernie Sanders. Because American culture has been riddled with socialist propaganda for many decades. It's literally everywhere you look and that's not even close to an exaggeration or paranoia. And American kids have grown up swimming in the stuff and not even knowing they were essentially being indoctrinated. And even before it was entirely obvious, they were there quietly doing their thing.

Sanders is popular because the American people did not take communist infiltration seriously. People who would have been outspoken about it allowed the mainstream socialists to bully them into silence with accusations of McCarthyism. Nevermind that McCarthy was actually right about almost everything.

People need to get over the 'red scare' and their fear of anything but capitalism.

The nationalistic attitude in America is disgusting. We aren't the best country, period.

No one is saying he's going to turn this country into another one. That would be absurd. He's going to severely alter the social and political landscape of the country, one that has worked just fine since its last revolution, because he thinks his ideas are superior to everyone else's. He doesn't care about people; he cares about ideas.

I happen to agree with you, but your labels will not get you far with most crowds. The right somehow think Goldman-sachs backed Cruz is their anti establishment Jesus loving savior, and that trump is sooo good at business that he would flip this nation around.

Hint: trump has gone bankrupt, and also cares about his fortune, not the fortune of others. Let's start some more wars in the middle east and invest in oil.

Rand Paul would have been one of my higher choices.

As he's out, all in on Bernie.

If nothing else, his popularity should at least start sending a message.

Plenty of people definitely are saying he will turn our country into another one. Ignorance is full circle because ignorance simply denotes a lack of knowledge, which as humans we all have....

They being said, debating who's ignorance is more dangerous is definitely popular now days.
