It would be very difficult to describe the elections of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan as normal exercises in democracy or republican government. On the contrary, there were enormous complaints with the first election that went no where, and this last 're-election' of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was a complete farce.

Nations are often ruled by monsters. Based on my life experience with Russians and Turks, I would take a 'Putin' any day of the week over an 'Erdoğan'. I do not know any US Americans who really understand what horrendous people Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his political party are (or the royal family of the House of Saud, for that matter).

I think the people who bother themselves to become as informed as they can through all the B.S. Know that most of the leaders have a few skeletons in the cupboard. But the West particularly America has a track record of having strong men in charge of their overseas colonies'. Its cheaper and more cost effective that way, as long as they follow orders its ok . If they become loose cannons, and prefer to do business with the opposition that's when the crap hits the fan.

Its fairly obvious that the fan is on, Russia has drawn a line in the sand as far as Syria goes. The Wests leaders have some serious thinking to do. Because it wont just be a War with Russia if Syria gets invaded, it will be game on with the Chinese as well.

I just wonder if this is just more MSM government controlled propaganda. Seriously, like Assad striking with WMD's when it was actually discovered to be ISIL false flag trying to bring in the US. It almost succeeded if not for the lack of British parliamentary approval and Putin stepping in to defuse the situation. Don't you know the US military and Obama was pissed that there carefully laid plans were totally subverted and a complete flop?

You know, the entire propaganda apparatus that has tried so tirelessly over the past 5 years to paint the Assad government as a brutal monster who terrorizes his own people has gotten old. Now extending to Russia, who is clearly destroying the threat to the world known as Daesh.

The tactics do not work anymore, thanks to the internet the Wests SOP of overthrowing countries who will not sell out to our fascist multinational corporate state is simply glaringly obvious.

Here we have Turkey, one of the most corrupt NATO states in existence claiming that Russia is going after civilians in hospitals, this coming from country that has been committing genocide since at least the Armenians, is quite possibly one of most painful ironies I have ever heard.

This country has facilitated the destruction of Syria since Assad for over 5 years now. A nonstop stream of trained NATO operatives covertly disguised as Daesh with all the support they could need.

Now that they have failed, we see their desperation, from shooting down a Russian plane to invading Iraq and now threatening to invade Syria.

And to think that anyone buys this nonsense.

The revolution that will be happening in Turkey can not happen soon enough!

Turkey has been supporting ISIS with both logistics and weapons. It's hard to believe anything they say. Of course it wouldn't be shocking to me if true. As another poster pointed out, all the countries involved in wars in the middle east have bombed hospitals and other questionable targets. And everyone uses these as places to hide weapons as well. It's a dirty, dirty war, and is tragically sad.

This is of course on top of all the other imaginary hospitals Russia hit that the US refused to released any specific information on.

Yay, and we fall for the same old lies ... AGAIN! . Because you know, if our Knights don't fight against evil Russians, than you know, the world will collapse and Satan will rise to spread his evil ways across the globe right??

Oh look what Russia did, 3 hospitals, refugee centers, and other civilian structures, ALL IN ONE DAY! Intentionally, deliberate and everything! Says the Turkish leader who has already been caught helping the terrorist cause and persecuting all the press in his country that tried to report the truth. Like you know, the most convenient targets to gather all the world's condemnation simultaneously at the same time....

ahh well, I'll just adjust my IRA accordingly to profit from the companies it will benefit. Might as well play the game in my favor since I know how its going to go.

come on people who are we going to beleive, Turks, good old msm who spew the same # off each other, or even that scum bag McCain, he was saying the same thing, those naughty russians. The Turks can see themselves losing ground rapidlly, so now they are using dirty tactics during the fog of war.

Will wait for more proof as to what really happened as to who is the blame and who was really targeted due to the similar incident in the past. Otherwise it's more cold war jargon.

I smell BS this would of been NATO then the turks blaming it on Russia.

remember NATO was proven to of set up all 12 of the terrorist groups in Europe which bombed the innocent public just to get people to vote right wing governments in operation gladio over a 50 year period as well as the small fact of sibel Edmonds proof that the CIA set up Al Qaeda and ISIS as well as both the british and American militaries supplying ISIS with weapons during the Syrian genocide.

3 things..

Turkey was shelling the area (2 hits but not the 3rd.. which looks like a brick outhouse..) with mortars just before we heard this... story.
Turkey's admin clearly wants a greater war.. and a chance to eliminate their enemy's in the process, since the jet.. this has been the forward direction from turkey's gov.

and 3..

every time we see turkey's leader.. he's smirking.. grinning.. there is no remorse for anyone in his face.. and when addressing this event he looks absolutely joyful.

I don't trust any of them.. but it's clear who's playing games with eyes for war, who's "making it worse" with every action they take.. and it's not Russia or Syria.

at least it's clear to anyone who's been paying close attention and looks at EVERYTHING.. not just what your media or your propaganda outlets tell you.

Then why haven't Russia denied it was them ?
They stand accused of a war crime yet nothing in way of a denial.

Funny how Turkey is suddenly wanting to protect its illicit oil industry so is wanting in with the battle.

Amazing how we can all ignore what goes on in Israel and American bombings of hospitals in Afganistan - at least the ones that get reported over here.

Whether anyone likes it or not Assad is the elected head of Syria and we all know whose vested interests in Syrian oil etc are being protected.

People forget the USA and Allies have had a number of years to deal with Syria and all they have done is allow that war to extend and extend. With all the fire power and intelligence the USA has alone that situation should have been dealt with easily. Because it was so protracted Russia came in - who can blame the Russians for that - everyone could see the game the West was playing with Syrian lives.

The hospitals in question are in rebel areas opposed to Assad. If, and its a big if, the tactics of using hospitals for warfare purposes alongside healing are being employed then I expect Assad following Netanyahoo's tactics. It does seem strange though to hit three hospitals unless they were situated next to target sites and got destroyed due to location.

Heart goes out to those people we saw on the tv but again this is tactic that has been used in the past by the media and we all know murdoch's personal interest in Syria.

Well I see we have another instance of civilians getting killed, but of course it's okay because they were targeting the enemy.

Now we have people acting a though this was just propaganda except we have residents backing the reports of this from multiple sources on the ground where children are being killed and some have so much hatred for the west they are blind to what is actually happening with the country they are defending.

This is a war of course, but kill those fighting not the innocent women, and children that have no say in this fight.

And yes that goes for everyone involved.

Then why aren't you condemning Russia for killing civilians which has been proven many times already in Syria, but it's okay because they are Russia and they can do it....oh the hypocrisy that shines through is amazing.

You need to ask why?

Allow me to explain why I actually prefer to believe the Russians and not the USA and Western allies versions of event when it comes to bombing hospitals. So lets get down to it then and look at where USA and its western allies foreign policy has actually got us and what its cost other nations shall we?

Weapons of mass destruction in Iraq we were told - in dashed the Americans with their ally forces and now we have a devastated country still in need of repair, areas damaged by the use of uranium tipped weapons and cancers through the roof. We did not find, despite American assurance (and also Blair's) that Sadam had WMD - so it was all lies coming from America.

We dashed into Afghanistan after Bin Laden whom eventually we found not there, despite all the huge amounts of wasted tax payers money, wasted lives and of course the usual devastation, but living in Pakistan despite being told No Afghanistan. Isn't Afghanistan good for lithium etc still not much chance of getting at it though.

We created the Libyan mayhem because the US petro$ was threatened by Gaddafi who was killed off despite his warnings about what would happen there terrorism wise were he removed. Was that really a good enough reason to have removed a successful government head who had done wonders for his country which now is in chaos?

The USA led allies in Syria mucked about for so long causing dreadful suffering whilst supposedly dealing with Daesh and other groups of terrorists whose actions the media milked to its upmost for propaganda reasons presumably. Obama wants rid of Assad because he wouldn't agree to sell his country's assets as in oil being drilled for by Murdoch and friends. Should one blame Assad for trying to look after his country after all he is the elected Head of it.

I won';t mention the Yazidi and how there was very little help given to those persecuted people, made good propaganda for what looks like some overall plan being played out.

That is, until the Russians stepped in and turned the tables on the waffling American led policy in Syria and started to get results.

Now Russia says it had no planes flying over Aleppo on the day those hospitals were bombed. It says America did though.

Now as a side line I will bring up the bombing recently of another hospital in Afghanistan by the Americans and I will also mention the other interested party in Syria who wants to take it over, the Saudi's. No they are currently in Yemen bombing schools and hospitals (with the aid sadly of the British if accounts are to be believed) which are probably true.

So perhaps you you can see why I have more faith in what the russians are telling us than the Americans and Allies. I would say with the past 16 years that faith is not without reason and evidence of past and current behaviour.

Do not think for one single minute I am getting at the ordinary American people, or those of the Western allied countries whatsoever. I am not and have a great respect for the public there as indeed here, because we are watching some evil policy being slowly launched at all our heads.

They denied it almost immediately.

Medvedev rejected the accusations.

"There is no evidence of our bombing civilians, even though everyone is accusing us of this," he told the conference, sitting next to Valls.
