What the HELL is going on with the site right now?

The site is displaying in a strange, new, and barely readable format and colour scheme at the moment, and I am unable to accept it into my eyeballs.

Could someone tell me if this is a glitch or not? If not, can we please get rid of the new scheme?

you got a point. just signed on and seeing all these colors. I kinda like it though. but hard to see what's on the page.

No, seriously, what is going on with this site? The live-area backgrounds are missing, the homepage has some mega-graphic in the background of some police in riot gear...

Is someone dicking around with the design and forgetting that they're doing it while live?

ETA: Ah, right after posting this, it went back to normal.

I take it to be an experiment, but it's horrible. Blue text on gray background is what I'm getting on the forum lists.

P.S. As of now, gone again.

I think so because the second you posted it all went back to normal as if somebody said "ooops" and forgot to toggle a function.

Mine changed but I was trying to figure out what was wrong with my computer! Glad it wasn't only me with the problem, and very glad its fixed! I couldn't read that at all!

Looks to me like the css file called «ats_2016_css.css» was momentarily gone from the server. Seeing all the colour-formatting got blasted, my experience told me it was a css failure, all the colour formatting was put to html-1.0 standard. When trying to look it up, I ended up on a page with the bg pic below in the background:

==> files.abovetopsecret.com... ==> 404?

What gives?

I see it's back to normal now, guess someone replaced the old css at some point.

We are trying new home pages and colors Skeptic Overlord has a thread about it this week asking us for help.

New format-colr pages...look for his earlier thread this week about the changes.

Yeah, all my lettering was dark blue, could barley read it. It's normal now though.

Bummer, I always miss the cool stuff.

I tried clicking the ICON, top right far-side to Change Site Style...

only after I returned to the 'RECENT' & clicked the next thread about the odd & unfortunate layout....
did the familiar page presentation come on screen - to my Relief

if that brief look was what is planned for the site style presentation...I will require the page be blown up to +200% so I can at least manage to slowly read it
