Who will you support and why.? Will you do wings or pizza or both?

Do you care?

Share your thoughts, I'm not going to watch it, I'll read about it in the a.m. ( may tune in for halftime) or not. It seems more prostitution-alized than ever before. Today show has been on site for 3 days now...

It's been going since early this a.m.

Not a fan, but I can understand the interest of fans who have local professional teams. Now who isn't a fan of Super Bowl parties? The food and beverages are the main attraction!

I'm a Broncos fan first, but Panthers are my second favorite team, so I get to win either way. There are some really awesome players/human beings on both teams.

May the best players win!

(I hope its one of those suspenseful down-to-the-wire games and not a steamrollering session - I'm looking for a good contest here!)

Being as the whole system of professional sports is part of the scheme to misdirect the populace and a toy of prestige for billionaires, I still love the orchestration of human skills and abilities demonstrated by this team sport, a sport that relies upon team work and individual determination to succeed.

So the Super Bowl. My football watching is limited to the championship games and the Super Bowl. This allows for my appreciation of those who are performing at peak levels while at the same time keeps me clear of the mind numbing involvement and addiction to a whole season, season after season after season.

So yeah, I will be watching. Who is playing again? Oh yeah, the old guy who is retiring and the young kid who has already achieved the hero status that sports need to keep the fans enthralled.

Well, of course, we care AND we'll be watching it!

I went the easy route this year and roasted a turkey for subs. Chips and dip and the usual fare shall accompany.
Beverages they are a flowin'...waiting on the gang to get here!

Some of us will be rooting for Denver, it is sort of par for the course when in TN...

My youngest will go for Carolina. She pulls for whomever I am "against".

It IS very prostitutionalized but, darn it, it IS the last football game of the season...there's nothing to do until the "Dead" comes back on!!!!!!!

None of my "give a cares" made it this year.

So we are sort of in ignore mode. Being a Chiefs fan, the Broncos are kind of a special level of "ick" although I do wish Peyton Manning well. He's one of those people you just can't really dislike. And I can't find it in my heart to care about Carolina. They're a little show-boaty for my taste.

Other than that, we're having homemade spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs will morph into meatball subs at least once this week.

C'mon, everyone knows the only reason people even bother to watch the Super Bowl is for the commercials!

I'm a Quarterback guy.
Growing up to present time...
Montana
Marino
P. Manning

This will most likely be the last NFL game I care to watch.

Fruits and vegetables for munchies.
Pulled pork 'barbachoo samiches'.

Bacon-wrapped bbq jumbo hotdogs.

Cold beer.

I want the Broncos, but I think the Panthers have it.

My Patriots didn't cut the cheese this year (been a fan since they sucked)

Tough to pick a Team this year. On one hand you have a guy that is an exceptional, exciting QB, but too flashy and on the other you have a guy who pimps for Papa John or anybody else with a dollar.

I'll probably watch at least a bit.

The pomp surrounding this day has grown to be surreal.

It is Americas Holy day.

Every year I find myself thinking more and more,

bread and circuses.

While Rome burns.

Enjoy the programing.....I mean...game.

I used a whole pound of hickory-smoked bacon to wrap my hot dogs.

They are in the oven now, awaiting a thin glaze of bbq.

Once done, they will be either placed into buns or cut up and placed on a plate for finger food. They will be accompanied by diced onions.

No other condiment is needed!

I never understood how people can spend a whole day wrapped up in it. I would certainly watch the game if there was a team there I cared something about, but just to watch the Super Bowl? Nah. I feel the same about the World Series.

And I enjoy sports, particularly football.
