on taxes

chinese corporations are taxed half as much as the US, but their workers get paid 10 times less than US workers.

im no einstein, but i play one on tv, the math doesn't add up. we cant compete with the chinese even if we cut corporate tax in half.

in order to make american manufacturing desirable, we'd have to cut corporate tax in half and reduce minimum wage to match what the chinese workers get paid. or, encourage the chinese working class to demand a better standard of living.

Lower tax and lower minimum wage sound like a great idea. Let's do it.

go poverty! third world here we come!

how about not charging immigrants 1500 dollars to become citizens? homeless people born here weren't asked to pay anything or take any kind of test, meanwhile immigrants that want to live here, pay taxes and work have to tap dance and juggle to pursuit happiness

Sure, if they want to work, contribute and add to the great American experience.

If they want to suck on the government teat, that's a different story. If they are here because their illegal alien parents hauled them over the border or popped them out of the womb 30 minutes after entering the country, that's another story.

Personally, I think the fine should be that they pay back every penny of welfare taken out in their name. Yes, illegal parents use their kids for food stamps and other welfare. They receive public education and in-state tuition.

Want to be an American? Take the nationalization test in english (should be easy if you lived here all your life) and then pay back every cent paid for by the legal residents of this nation. If you weren't taking a lot out, it should be a low amount.

Trump: "I will bring back a helluva lot worse than waterboarding"

People are sick and tired of politically correct explanations (Cruz) which ultimately come across as submissive and weak.

...Oh sh!t, I'm really starting to believe Trump will be our next president.

You are kidding - this is a funeral march for Trump. I wouldn't be surprised if he drops out if he loses NH and after tonight its very possible.

What are talking about? Trump is winning the whole thing. Even after all the donor "boos", a live pole had him at 49% over the entire debate, the 51% spread between the rest. Even the college so called liberal hipsters shouted "Trump!" in near unison when asked live as a whole, who they thought was winning.

...I guess you missed that^

Trump is doing fine tonight. Most online polls will call him the winner.

Glad to see they're all attacking Hillary now.

I'm keeping tabs on a conservative live chat. Consensus there is that Trump looks bad, especially after the Eminent Domain question. Rubio started off bad but has since recovered although first impressions against Christie might overwhelm later good performance. Cruz has been strong all night even with the early food fight over Iowa and particularly eviscerated the moderator once when she tried to interfere and debate herself.

Since the conservative electorate is the one whose opinions really matter at this point, I'll lean toward their assessments at the moment.

"...at this point." won't matter much when his supporters go to the polls.

Again...Cruz will benefit from tonight, Christie will move up...Trump will hold steady...Rubio may lose a little.
Carson and Kasich will show no movement...Bush will lose ground.

The 49% related to twitter mentions. Most of them are bad.

Thats about the sum of it. All complete wastes of space, apart from Carson. But he is so passive - seems like he has given up already.

I am looking forward to seeing half these candidates drop out. They are kind of getting it easy as the actually rarely have to talk and be put under pressure.

One thing is for certain, they have little clue what conservatism entails. According to their definitions, is that what American conservatism is?

if there was a minimum requirement to serve under a draft, no one would meet it. if the cause is worth fighting, you dont need a draft.

unless the minimum requirement was having all your limbs.
