Astronaut Edgar D. Mitchell, who was part of the Apollo 14 space crew that flew to the moon in 1971, died late Thursday in West Palm Beach, according to his family.

Dr. Edgar Mitchell, the 6th man to walk on the moon has passed away. A few weeks ago, Dr. Mitchell took a fall that he never fully recovered from. We have lost a true national treasure and outspoken advocate for UFO research and truth on past alien contact. He was 85

Sorry to hear this.

I lost my Grandfather the same exact way. Fit as a fiddle at age 91, takes a small spill on his daily walk out to the mailbox, severally hurts his hip and a week later passes away due to pneumonia.
