Tall things project above the curve of the Earth. That's why you can see the sail of a boat, but not the boat itself, as it sails over the horizon.

The elevation of Polaris coincides with latitude. At 45ºN, 45º above the horizon. At 60ºN, 60º above the horizon. Coincidence? I think not.

I need solid proof and then maybe.

The theory that I made up as I wrote that post has us not being able to leave the edge because that is the edge of the "simulation" that we are living in.

That would also make the celestial bodies be actual projections from the top of the simulated universe.

I really think the only reason someone would argue the earth is flat is for the sake of arguing and attention.

That's the only way FE works.

All one has to do is look at the 2 most commonly observed bodies from Earth, namely the moon and sun to realise there's something fairly standard about the shape of this planet we live on. Coupled together with the thousands of pictures we have taken from satellites and other space probes. However the real coup-de-grace tell them to look at a cockpit video from a high altitude aircraft or weather ballon with a camera, you can see the curvature of the earth FFS! Check out Felix Baumgartner's stunt - nuff said! Lunacy in the extreme!
