First, it is ok for Bernie to take donations and pay his family overpriced rates for campaign jobs right? He can do that with his non-profit and I know for a fact there were those in this thread in those ones.

Second, do you know what the Nations day Parade is in NY? It is the Veterans Day parade in NY and it was almost lost but...here is a synopsis.

Mr. Trump has long been a devoted supporter of veteran causes. In 1995, the fiftieth anniversary of World War II, only 100 spectators watched New York City’s Veteran Day Parade. It was an insult to all veterans. Approached by Mayor Rudy Giuliani and the chief of New York City’s FBI office, Mr. Trump agreed to lead as Grand Marshall a second parade later that year. Mr. Trump made a $1 million matching donation to finance the Nation’s Day Parade. On Saturday, November 11th, over 1.4 million watched as Mr. Trump marched down Fifth Avenue with more than 25,000 veterans, some dressed in their vintage uniforms. A month later, Mr. Trump was honored in the Pentagon during a lunch with the Secretary of Defense and the entire Joint Chiefs of Staff.

He financed it and brought it back to life.

He is self funding his own campaign. Do you folks really think he is going to steal for Veterans?

I do not disagree with you. However could Trump have done all of this to get more recondition with Washington's politicians?

This is a HUGE middle finger to the media. It does not make him look scared but not wanting to play the game. This is the biggest deal of his life and I do not see him not trying as hard as he can.

First of all, trying to demonize Sanders for hiring family and friends is the best you got? Not only do politicians all hire family and friends to work on their campaigns but the entire world also hires family and friends, or recommends them. Second, he is not paying them absurd amounts of money either.

Trump isn't funding his own campaign then why does he have a donation button right on his website and the last time I check donations greatly outnumbered the amount of money he himself put in. So, he does not fund his own campaign and that's fine but it is ironic he claims otherwise.

About the parade, his actions do warm my heart and I thank him. Hopefully that's all true.

I will be upfront, I am a Bernie supporter. I don't like Trump. Do I think he is out to steal money. No. I do believe this came out of the ballpark and he wanted to have legitimacy and a site to show how much he did for vets for this rally cry. Unfortunately, it does shine light on his prior loopholes of playing the game that the average American is sick and tired of shouldering. I will agree, that most folks even the wealthiest ever feel they have enough. Their perspectives change and that is what drives them to get more wealth. Even the poor have this unsatiable need. I just don't believe Trump had 'others' create this website to steal donations from the vet. He just was being a businessman who demanded his workers to 'make it so, Now!' they did a quick crappy job to meet his kingly demand and wahlah! Those who support Trump and his business leadership should just get used to this crappy solutions, since that is what you want to be your President!

Edit add: Remember...you are not just voting for Trump but those lackeys whose only job is to instantly meet his demands and fall on the sword as dip#s, so he stays untouched.

You know we disagree and most issues but I have to give you a star and a flag for standing by your principles and not supporting this scumbag.

It's sad how he is using wounded and disabled veterans for his gain only.

Couldn't he have scheduled this fundraiser on another date?

No we do not, but one thing i respect about you and many of the other left leaning people on here that I have spirited debates with, is that you guys stand by your principles too.....
