I only have two favorite shows on TV. Both are renewed for new seasons, but only make ten episodes per season and the length of time between them is brutal.
South Park- Fall 2016
Rick and Morty-Spring 2017 if we're lucky.

STARGATE UNIVERSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This cant be a two word comment but I just want people to know that I think the series needs to come back. Why, well because it was a great show and was only getting better, with Star Wars, Stark Trek coming back and the whole rebirth of Scifi a show like Stargate with the established fanbase would kick backside.

My main reason is because I freaking loved it. The plots were more character based rather than a lot of plot devices which was different. While SG1 is probably my favourite (Jack and Daniel being the better characters) and McKay was great as well the SgU was just different enough to be enjoyable.

I'm also open to a new series, set in the same universe but apparently they're rebooting it so that's a bummer because the shows were great and built the name to what it is.

In Living Color (original cast and all).

Other than that, how about a reboot of The Night Stalker. It was basically the X files before there were X files. Dark Shadows would be cool too.

They tried reboots of Kolchak and Dark Shadows about a decade or so ago.
Sometimes it's best to leave things in the past...I loved them as well, but the tv reboots were awful.

Your post really incited me to answer something... I've been hoping for a Star Trek show based in the 30th century, because then Starfleet has control over time travel. We know from past episodes of some of the various Star Trek shoes that were made. That would be a different kind of Star Trek.

Would love to see a remake of Quantum Leap and
Sliders. It was a shame Forever got cancelled too.

A Deadwood movie is happening at least!

Star Trek... as a lifelong Trekkor, I want it to happen... but it needs to get back to the true spirit and intent behind Roddenberry's initial vision imo.

FRINGE! Yes! A movie if nothing else NEEDS to happen. If for no other reason than to let me see more Walter moments lol.

Universe was something truly special imo.

Setting it in the deep reaches of space on a ship elevated from "just another Stargate series" to classical sci-fi in a more real way than previous shows in the franchise ever achieved. Robert Carlyle added a great sense of weight and profundity to the proceedings (as he seems to do for everything he touches I might add lol.) And they did the thing that most shows shy away from increasingly because evidently it's the kiss of death in today's attention span bereft viewership... intense serialization! Every seed planted even in the first episode continued to blossom into arcs and plot threads all the way to the end of the series run. Everything that happened had consequences and mattered.

It ended up being GREAT SCI-FI, rather than just a Stargate series. One of the best sci-fi shows in fact, for my money, since Firefly. Great ensemble, great characters, great stories. It really breaks my heart we won't ever see the conclusion to their journey. It was like Star Trek Voyager, had Voyager been darker, more dramatically focused, and more serialized rather than week-to-week. Ugh, I miss Universe. Lol

And the kicker? I don't even like Stargate.

Peace.

The P.J's, the funniest animation i ever seen. Eddie Murphy and Chris Rock voiced some of the characters

This is the show that I was coming in here to post about. It was hilarious. I've never seen anything funnier than "What's Eating Juicy Hudson?" and I don't think I ever will.

I don't remember Chris Rock's voice in it though. Who did he play?

These to be updated but to be an extension of the established canon:
Star trek, Battlestar Gallactica, Stargate Universe,

These would need an update and to take on a darker theme with a smart twist right from relaunch.
MacGyver, Knight rider, the A team.

Oh wow, I haven't thought about The Maxx or Aeon Flux in forever! I'd love for those to return (or at least finish, in the case of The Maxx.)

Peace.
