Wow.....

Didn't know that my spleen could damage humanity (*gulp*).

As for my departure....if BD asks me to vacate this thread I'd be happy to.

I'm just here as a courtesy.

Thanks for being honest --- love it.

Aww, thank you!

It's funny, I mostly wear black but the 'happy' part of me adores my hot pink gal!
I seem to be known as a "chit-chat" member but it was high strangeness that brought me to this site.

The paragraph you quoted of mine earlier, that you said 'sounded like a living hell'...well it was, for a couple of years...in the rented house/portal-to-hell with the orbs and weird energy.

So THAT part of me is wanting to learn/discuss those topics again, I'm feeling a need for more information. In that house, I actually felt like I received downloads of information through the water during a shower.
I started searching, and my bookmarks page is a hilarious collection over time. (Roswell to Orgonite to Demons, ad infinitum).

I have noticed that I'm not the only one with a 'conversational' style of writing, so I'm actually feeling quite happy settling in for the long run.

Plenty of virtual room for all... invitation still extended indefinitely... and your spleen may not be a "killer" exactly, but rather a little subset happily squishing out compounds to keep the whole "pretty bear" subset going ...for now.

Oh and see my last post to you has an addition addressing the rest of the query you asked.

eta actually that edit was two responses back.. .about the "being one with the universe" query.

etax2 and I have to finish quite a pile of 'real world' work and so will be here, but distracted for a while... so go on and have it, folks... you are all quite engaging! Thanks.

The learning potential of that one post by Specimen was off the scale. I've been waiting for almost ten years for someone to discuss the free will or lack theteof of "God".

It's all good.

I have no preference between being laughed off the stage or permanently doing my "standup routine";

My wife, my company, my Associates of a famous nature....My puppy dogs....and all the rest of my life are my main focus.

This burst of writing on ATS won't last.

Nothing does except nothing and even that gets boring.

I think my writing only makes sense in my accent, otherwise it probably just reads as pish but I don't really care as much as I should

Hot pink gals are adorable to me (as an old punk) and our thread host is so wonderful in so many ways that you must never, ever feel that what you say isn't worth hearing and should be deleted. No way. No one should.
The part of you that wants to engage is the part that is reaching me, I think. Places can be odd, they can 'hold' feelings, no doubt about it. Our environment influences how we think, and so it makes sense that we get 'vibes' from places and places can change us.

I'll look forward to hearing about your portal to hell whenever you like (that's a phrase you don't get to say every day
)

*chuckles*

"reality creators" aren't magicians. That's blanket cultural label. Just as magicians aren't "reality creators".

You are reality. Reality is you. It is an extension of you, and while perhaps not subject to your lone will, it can and does respond like an appendage. You are embedded in it. People who are disciplined in mind can alter their internal body functions. These people are their body, of their body, and their body is them.

A skin cell can't make you flap your arm. On the other hand, your arm can't make a skin cell turn blue. Why do we demand these things co-map over one another?

A skin cell can certainly turn cancerous and cause you to loose your arm. The micro can cause effect on the macro level, and it's quite clear that we can manipulate the microscopic. It's much easier looking down in scale to effect change than up. It's much easier to observe and watch things that are smaller and simpler than comprehend something larger.

I find the term "free will" deceptive. You, we, I -- chose to be here. That, has been made abundantly clear to me on many occasions.

If someone is having results with a system they've developed, then why piss on their parade? No one is right or wrong anyway. I run into a lot of bitter, pissed off, and disillusioned people.

I wonder if they tried some things and didn't fully understand themselves well enough. They weren't prepared and didn't like what they saw, the answers they got, or the doors that refused to open. Or, perhaps they the consequences of their actions/intent disturbed them.

Just a tip...

The things you think you want are 99% probably not the things you really want.

C'mon, don't we get to discuss for a while how "oh no" we don't have a benevolent god loving us, now what? I certainly wouldn't mind dissecting that fact, no one in my real life will even entertain such a notion!

beansidhe...Too funny...I READ your replies in a Scottish accent! I think the hell-house is going to come out in bits and pieces, to be honest. Writing about it all at once is too overwhelming...it was a really horrible time in my life.
But...I have learned so much.

We are allowed to have a friendly debate?

The first line in the above quote.
Yes. I think I'm one of them.

The 2nd line of the above quote.
Does that include food? rent? gas? $20 phone card to communicate with kids?

YOU may have chosen to come here, but I would NEVER have put myself through all of this on purpose!
I think perhaps you are forgetting that we are all having very different experiences here on this blue orb!

Hunny,

To be perfectly honest, if reincarnation is real...I don't think I've been here before.
Yeah, I've had so many ridiculous experiences that my life story would be considered fiction.

I honestly am starting to believe that I'm having to experience every perspective in one lifetime.
If that option is remotely possible, don't you agree that I would be getting stressed by now?

My sense of humour has literally kept me alive.

There Is no reincarnation ---- just concurrent incarnation of a sort.

But I "get it" --- I was beaten with rods and threatened with death nearly continuously growing up

That's why we all appreciate a Great sense of humor.....it helps.
