The name Eirene is so close to the name Eire which is an old name for Southern Ireland. The 'mark' is a Runic symbol 'Algiz'. It is a rune of protection. Covering it with a circle makes the protection stronger, according to some. It is a good thing!

Golden children have been walking the streets of the world since men first came to be, the problem is that people doesn't give a darn about these magnificent human beings and when they turn too dangerous for governments power is known that they get killed.
