Make America 'strong' again?

Make America 'great' again?

How about we make America SMART again and quit the anti-intellectual, anti-science bullsnip that's been circulating?

Wise words of wisdom Mystik! I have read some very disconcerting posts that make me cringe. I understand that we all have our own individual thoughts & points of view & the freedom to express them on this site. I would just like to see a little more respect when disagreeing with someone else's opinion.

Source these claims, please. Show us the research and data and statistics and supporting information/sources on which you are basing your argument.

Please.

Per Politico Magazine, Gov. Kasich could win a plurality of votes in the up and coming New York Republican Presidential Primary, and could even take a plurality of the votes overall in the remaining primaries as well.

I hope so as he is the best man for the job given his past executive experience, respect from world leaders, ability to work with Congress, and overall knowledge of the issues and international affairs!

I, too, am for universal health care if it is affordable and we can go to the doctor of our choice. Negotiated peace and cooperation are great goals to strive for, but not at the cost of appeasement or the loss of our freedom.

Obama has not implemented YOUR plan to fight ISIS. A plan that is antiquated and unrealistic in a war against an ideology.

Hey!! It worked in Iraq, it worked in A-stan!
What? Never mind, then.

This is a different war, Johnny. We're fighting radical Islamic terrorists.

That would more correctly be termed as "ridiculous religious zealots and extremist feeble minded ones".

Insert whatever religion you wish above, they're all pretty much the same.

If you're referring to Isis, the radical terrorists, I agree they are indeed feeble minded ridiculous religious zealots, religion not being relevant. Wouldn't matter what religion with which they were affiliated .They would still be the terrorists that they are!

LOL. 20 years ago I was really into all this. Actually recorded C2C, kept files, links, etc.

I remember all the experts said prior to Bush's war --- you can not fight these people, this area from the top down. It's a culture/ideology. You have to go in on the ground level, get to know them, talk to them, work with them from their culture/ideology.

They warned if you attack them from the top all you will do is create a hornets nest. They will bind together in their culture/ideology. The entire population of the ME will come together to defend their way of life.

And that's exactly what happened.

The more we see Trump screaming at the top of his voice, insulting the other candidates, his eyes popping out of their sockets, the more apparent it becomes that he sees a stalemated Republican Convention denying him the nomination in July on a second or later ballot.

None yet, and I intend to keep it that way. But if Isis prevails, we all lose our freedom of religion, freedom to enjoy our own culture, freedom to enjoy our way of life, freedom to raise our children as we choose, and freedom from terrorism and intimidation.

I also watched Donald Trump's behavior in New York. He looked like a ranting, raving, screaming, frustrated, poor loser maniac. He seemed to be on the brink of a total breakdown.

Hard to believe a man like that could ever be running for the President of the United States. All I see is a spoiled brat who is used to getting his way or buying his way through life. The big bad bully who has no impulse control would probably scream "YOU'RE FIRED" if he ever had the opportunity to have a conversation or a so called negotiation meeting with Putin or any other world leader if he felt at any moment they weren't being "nice" to him.

You can't seriously think "ISIS" is going to take over the whole world. Right? That is ridiculous.....you yourself mentioned that they were feeble-minded. They're certainly not invincible.....don't forget, Americans are armed. We know our turf.

Thinking they are going to make this a 7th-century theocracy is silly, ken.

You're catastrophizing.
Don't get distracted by them from the real issues. the much LARGER issues. yes, they are dangerous, but you have to understand that they are a symptom of a larger, global infection.

We need to eliminate the CAUSES. ISIS is like Herpes......we need to cure frickin' herpes....

I am very relieved that the American public in the latest polls are finally seeing Donald Trump for the exact person he really is. The old quote "what you see is what you get" sure holds true for that guy.

I have been a Democrat for most of my voting years. This time around I have greatly favored the platforms of three Republicans. John Kasich, Marco Rubio, & Carly Fiorina. They have each defined my views as to what America greatly needs at this moment in time. I am now hoping for a chance that a combination of any of these three might have the opportunity to lead us back to a Strong, Respected America once again.

If I had my way, I would have John Kasich as president & either Carly Fiorina or Marco Rubio as VP & the one left standing would be given a very important role to help implement the needed policies.

They most certainly are not going to take over the world, Buz, and neither will they ever be able to succeed in imposing their theocracy on the rest of us. They eventually will be defeated, and they surely will be! But meanwhile many lives are being lost, the terrorist attacks continue, and time is a wastin'!

It has been learned that Isis had other places in mind when they executed the recent terrorist attack in Brussels. They were planning on hitting Paris again!

Still no new plan or strategy to defeat them from Obama, or any word about a summit with world leaders to formulate one.

And the beat goes on!

Per Business Insider Magazine, President Obama commented that more Americans are killed each year as a result of bathtub accidents in their home than from terrorist attacks.

Chris Wallace interviewed the cowardly President and reminded him that 66% of the American people wonder why he has been so ineffective and seemingly uninvolved about the continuing terrorist issues, and all Obama could say was that he doesn't want to create or increase public panic by giving the subject undue emphasis.

Guess Obama fails to note that bathtub manufacturers aren't intentionally trying to kill people like Isis does. And, once again, no mention by Obama of "radical islamic jihadist terrorists."
