In other words, you think America is to blame for all this? President Obama would be so pleased with your reply.

You seem to the type that wants to ignore that we have been doing what you have laid out for thirty years and it hasn't worked.

We went to war to stomp out AQ and the Taliban for over ten years, what did that accomplish?

Why won't you answer that question.

Because I look for solutions and toward the future while being realistic about the present threat. Talking about the Taliban and George Bush from the past won't defeat Isis today.

You have no room to criticise because you have already claimed we are under attack because they hate our way of life which is pure propaganda.

But it does show what happens when we think the answer is just go to war...

You know the saying about ignoring history.

There is nothing 'realistic' about your approach, we have tried it, and it didn't work. All it did was rack up trillions in debt, dead and wounded service members and more hatred from the people we killed.

Has nothing to do with what I said, when you are ready to address that I will be waiting.

I sure hope for your sake that it never comes to that, but continue to ignore the problem like Obama does and it just may happen one day soon.

Obama does not ignore it. We are providing intelligence, airstrikes and drone attacks. I am glad we not getting mired in a sectarian civil war. It is very big government to spend hundreds of billions on destroying a nation and then having to spend as much or more to rebuild and stabilize.

I'd rather spend the same money domestically

Sure did.
We aren't at war and HAVEN'T been since Desert Storm which was a limited engagement against the biggest bad guy who just pasted Iran, for threatening Saudi (oil) with weapons and WMDs we gave them to do so.
We can't do NOW it because we don't have doctrine for eliminating idealogs ,just nation states. we are adapting to the fight but as we aren't decisively engaged it's taking a while.
NOT to mention our lousy leadership that is hamstringing ANY military effort in the passed 8 years.
If one day it IS declared ,the response is a NATIONAL one ,not just a few units.

What Obama is doing isn't working. Isis grows stronger and they proven they can strike places like Paris as well as here at home in California. They have also proven they can down a Russian plane.

Trump doesn't have the ability to implement American foreign policy and he'd be a disaster for America if elected president for any reason.

5,000% more American citizens have been killed by police this year than jihadi's.

Cancer kills exponentially more people and think it would be better to spend money there.

Blowing up the middle east doesn't seem to work, at all. It seems to make things worse

Trump wants a good deal ,he isn't stupid.
He can HIRE better talent that our current administration's cabinet.
He isn't a political idealog at ALL he runs BIG buisness
HE isn't the brains behind it if elected anyway,WE are as military.
What HE would need to do it determine WHY ,not how.
I just think he might be a corporate banking shill, as crazy as it sounds .
So I want an outsider as well, I want Dr.Carson.
NOT perfect but calm.
HE feels right to me.

I do like Trumps support of a european style healthcare system though, and being a tough negotiator.

You really just don't get it. Stay safe!

Explain what I'm not getting? I know we're always going to have some different views but I don't think I see what I'm not getting. How is ISIS any more of a threat to me and my family than your average criminal.
