UK Government urged to reveal its role in getting Saudi Arabia onto UN Human Rights Council

Something big comes this way, something very big.

It's all kicking off in the Middle East and there is my country caught up right in the middle of it all. Fingers in many pies, bombing and/or supporting bombing of nearly every corner of the area.

Now we have my country supporting a country with such a disgraceful record of Human Rights, to lead on the U.N Human Rights council.

We have also admitted to assisting the House of Saud with their bombing of Yemen. Apparently we are only acting as Umpire, but we are advising them on where o use their cluster bombs and target Iran's Embassy.

I feel this thread here fits with this thread well.
