I don't think it's as bad as some people claim...I didn't live in Mt. View, but I did live off Muldoon (behind the gas station at the top of the hill). SWAT teams, sirens, occasional gun shot...Meh, as long as you kept to yourself you were fine.

That's pretty much what I've learned. No one wants trouble with the police. So, if you keep to yourself and don't create a scene, you'll be left alone. Everyone really wants to be left alone. It's only the drug addicts and drunks that seem to draw attention to themselves.

Here's the latest update I could find. There are a bunch of pictures too.
The wife confirmed her husband is dead. There still isn't much more info, though it seems he worked for or was otherwise allowed to pilot the plane since the CAP only acknowledges that the plane was flown without authorization, not stolen.
