i did paste that full line as instructed into the signature line. it does show up on the page but the link takes me to a yahoo site, would you please check it out

There is probably something missing in your command line or something is there that shouldn't be there...

If you go to your account settings page in the signature field and first do a ctrl+a followed by ctrl+x....at least we know there is nothing there anymore...

Now try and follow this rather amature explanation....

The string you are typing in your signature field is comprised of two parts, the URL part...



(which is the link to the page where you want to go)

In our case to the first page of the Halloween thread 2016



And the ATS part...



(Which is the location of your image)



Now If the URl would be closed after the link, the rest (in this case the location of your image) will be ignored so that's why you close the the URL all the way at the end...

You should end up with something like this...(if it's still readable)

i feel terrible admitting that it was a typo on my side, that had corrupted the link.


but your explanations did help and i understand much better. if i am not mistaken, i can change the image by replacing a new BB-code.

You can indeed change links and pictures as you please..

There used to be a really handy thread on BBcode but it is a little outdated. If you use the search function and type bblink you should find it...

There you go Page.... that should be the right size for your mini-profile background (if you set your avatar to a blank one as per the instructions on Page1 of this thread)

You're welcome.
If you have a blank avatar in place now, then just set the new picture as your "Min-Profile background" and it should work fine.

Okay I have finally thought of an avatar that I would like to have.... this will also be a tattoo that I will have put on my back... it will be my first tattoo. This is my idea I want a star of David with an eye in the middle and pillar on each side of the star one pillar is Justice and one pillar is Mercy and then the Latin words Libri over the top and Omnes underneath the star.. I have no idea what colors to use. I was kind of thinking of making each triangle that the star is composed of a different color to signify the two polarities anyway if anyone would like to help me with that I would greatly appreciate it and would be willing to pay them for it I am not nearly as computer literate as I wish I was..

ETA sorry for the wall of text I'm doing a No-No and using my voice recognition while driving
