BTS : Avatar Creations 2016

Well I finally set down and tried to figure out this new extended avatar stuff... here's my amatureish results...

I've been rollin with the led zeppelin IV tarot hermit for a while...

Then I got the idea to incorporate the symbols from the album...

...each symbol represents each band member.

I just took the other symbols and spelt the first (ZoSo) using the others...


Am I right, that there's some kind of blank gif you can use to keep the image from repeating and maybe have it scale the symbols I'm using out evenly depending on the length of the post?

These oober long avatars can only be up to 1200px long... so if you make a really long post that goes beyond the full length of the avatar, it will start repeating naturally. There's nothing that can be done about that.

So unless you're writing an essay every time you post in a thread, I wouldn't be too concerned with the repeating thing.

I am thinking of a different avatar and bottom border. I really wanted to keep SJW, but I feel I will not get real far with it. It is a difficult decision. It came down to thinking I will not make pogress with it, so I will remove it.

I want to keep ATS in the bottom Border (biger) along with this for the right on bottom border

to keep them guessing, no other reason. And this



for the main avatar.

can someone help me out? Much appreciated.


Thatls a big picture, it can be cut down to the main person.

I uploaded my avatar to my drop box then clicked on set as avatar and mini profile background but its off center or possibly too big?

Any help would be appreciated.

I uploaded a black image and set that as the background to my mini profile. So my avatar looks pretty good here but on my profile page its still skewed.

Now, things changed a bit for dimensions when we got the new space for long backgrounds....but I think the file sizes didn't change all that much.

I don't know how to resize...one of the experts here will need to help....but it is too big.

I followed your link and then did a search on how to resize gifs.

That was a lot easier than I remember.

Your avatar looks great!

I have my avatar ok. I am still unable to get the banner right. The center image can overlap the borders, but I don;t need the white boarder and it is too small. If someone could help.

Any ATS font for the first image is fine.

I love and respect the work everyone does, looks great. I tried making something in paint, but I think it is too simple for what I am trying to do. I am looking for this to be a background.
