I got it. I had to go back to my uploaded image and make the background image again. The tutorial was giving me empty space.

I'd suggest making your text white or grey. The blue is illegible and doesn't fit the color scheme either.

Indeed.

A darker grey would make it legible as well as keep it's 'mood'

This Avatar does lift my spirits

I find it immensely beautiful and fascinating.

Here's a quote from this topic I made a while ago on changing my avatar.

So, it's been 8 years that I've forced all of you to stare at what some have called, 'that hideous monstrosity', and also 'that revolting thing', and also 'is that a self portrait?', and also 'that fascinating creature', avatar.

A long time ago I stumbled upon an extremely talented 3D artist (Greg Petchkovsky), and this one particular piece really stuck out and 'spoke' to me.

To me, it's a gorgeous representation of the feeling of fascination of the unknown. The creature within it seems as though they are in deep, deep thought on the little alien-caterpillar it has skewered, and is analyzing and evaluating every detail.

What makes it even more intense - for me - is how the creature itself is both incredibly beautiful and terribly ugly at the same time. It invokes a certain inability to really decide what to think of it.

Over the years I've received hundreds of comments regarding that avatar, with a spectrum from 'beautiful fascination' to 'appalling disgust'. It's important to note that although I've thoroughly enjoyed receiving all the attention for it, none of these comments effected how I feel about the avatar itself.

Nevertheless, it's been 8 years now, and I'm on the edge of a blade figuring out if I should continue to keep it, or move on to the next obscure avatar, with hopes of implementing a similar discomforting/fascinating/weird effect this one has had on all you fine folks.

whoever made the alien in that image is, as you allude, genius. The ability to make something beautfully hideous....that is something remarkable.

It is familiar enough to be recognized as intelligent, and possibly like us. But it doesn't approach the Uncanny Valley in any way.

Hello, avatar experts! As you can see, I'm having trouble getting my new avatar to fit. I don't know what I did wrong. Below is what it's supposed to look like. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Skid I think I have this sized down small enough to be a mini-profile. I don't think animations can be the full profile. Hopefully someone who knows what they are doing comes along to assist better than I

Yes, skid, Martin is correct.

We are not allowed to have the background image to be animated.

However, what I can do for you is create a background image the isn't animated, and then you can place a smaller version of that image in the avatar location. That way the avatar itself will be animated, but the background will remain static.

I can make it in a way that the image's are just an extension of one another so it appears to be a full, single avatar.

Hi there.

It is way too big and too many frames.. I tried to slim it down both in dimensions and frames to fit within avy requirements for the site... this is what I came up with.

The image would look something like this, but animated
