While I'm fairly certain this is a hoax I'll just go ahead and say that if time travelers used cell phones they would have some sort of way to send and receive data through time...So their data would time travel back and forth.

It's like the Charlie Chaplin time traveler for example...I'm not saying it wasn't something else but if it was a time traveler they would likely have an up link to the future...Just my 2 copper currency units...
