Says the woman who states Christ was born in July.

It is a compliment that someone is looking into my posts.

Historians have postulated anywhere from July to late September. It certainly was not December. If, indeed, she was in labor upon riding into Bethlehem, there would be no shepherds looking after sheep in meadows in snow.

Well it's good to know you have such a high opinion of yourself Reldra.

btw, PROVE IT.

Uh does it snow at 58 degrees ?

he climate in Israel is typically temperate; hot and dry in southern and eastern desert areas. T

www.myweather2.com...

emperature Throughout the month of December daytime temperatures will generally reach highs of around 14°C that's about 58°F. At night the average minimum temperature drops down to around 7°C, that's 44°F

Your exact words were 'BTW, Christ was born in July'. Which to me, and others here sounded very much like a difinitive answer, that is if he even existed as the Religion has suggested.

It is not just about the weather, as you will see in my post.

Also, the Romans moved the date to convert pagans that celebrated Yule or Solstice near December 25th. It has been done time and time again....put the holiday where an existing pagan one is and you get converts much easier.

Maybe I should have stated the reason behind that theory. It is far out of the way to argue a completely separate, past thread.

I think it is proven that he is an historical figure. As in a person that existed.

Yes i understand, however don't know what it was like 2000 yrs ago. If Christ did exist. The Catholic church has stated Christ was a fable they created. Not everyone believes he did.

The Catholic church has stated no such thing.

I think we have been over and over that topic. Her exact words were analysed. It is a topic that has no way to prove or not prove, other than Trump has added to the ISIS recruitment materials on social media.

Right if he didn't exist that means Muhommad didn't exist.

And ISIS is just a figment of ALL our collective imaginations.

So Trumps racist and hateful comments will not be used by ISIS to recruit new followers?

They will not use his words and tell the new recruits "this is how America sees you", so use it.

Of course there is no real proof they are using him to recruit but common sense dictates that the more you spread hate and ignorance about Muslims/Islam, that it will create more members by telling them you are hated and wanted dead.

Choose to be ignorant about the effects of hate, just don't act surprised when another Muslim American gets radicalized or that ISIS has recruited new members. Hate and ignorance have consequences.

Careful there. I see the propaganda has had an EFFECT.

Because Islam is a RELIGON.

Not a 'race'.

SHE LIED AND GOT CALLED ON IT
What part of that do you people not understand?
Apparently it is ok for Hillary to LIE as much as she likes and no one cares.

Look at the bright side. Now Trump has some valid reasons to sling some mud at Hillary now. With any luck maybe she'll lose some votes because of this. There's always hope.

Is this thread back on topic yet?

Someone here said that this was a "stupid, desperate and nonsense thread"...they must be one of the 3 Hillary supporters here on ATS. Why Sanders supporters here are attempting to excuse or defend Hillary, is beyond me. In other threads they are willing to freely admit she's a liar and a cheat.

So, when a top Presidential contender makes a blatantly false statement about their opponent during the course of a major debate, it isn't worth discussing on ATS? Like THAT never happened before.

I'll bet dollars to donuts, that if Hillary told as big a whopper about Sanders in that same debate, those saying this was nonsense here, would be starting threads to call it out.

LOL!

Clinton Lied about Sanders, and the Next day she's telling the 'truth' about Trump.

God bless American politics!

There has been much, typical, wailing-and-gnashing of teeth over Hillary Clinton here.

Has anyone proven that her statement about Trump's ignorant bluster contributing to ISIS recruitment efforts is false?

Anyone even discussing that issue? Or was this just click-bait for more Clinton-bashing?

Senator Lindsey Graham has said virtually the same thing about Trump, succinctly, directly, and from a position of considerable expertise.

"ISIL loves Donald Trump. The idea of having American soldiers taking Mideast oil for our benefit. How big of a recruiting opportunity do you think that would be? It puts Israel, the king of Jordan, all our allies at risk.

"This is an insanely dangerous idea that will embolden ISIL and put everybody in the Mideast against us, turn our allies, put our friends at risk."

Graham said Trump's ideas on stopping the Islamic State is "just one example of why his campaign is not going to be successful."

"Because if he knew anything about the Mideast, anything about destroying ISISL, you would never suggest that we're going to seize oil for the benefit of America in the Mideast," he said.
