I think it looks like a deer hide scraper. You should write down the important information about where and when you found the item and rubber band it to the item. Will it to the nearest local mound or natural history museum if you wish. My mother has a farm in Northern Indiana, and the farm renter who plows the fields overturns new artifacts every year. Especially, on the large hill near a creek. Arrow heads, axes, scrapers, etc. I love the Indian mounds and have visited the Etowah Mounds at Cartersville Georgia, the Serpent and Fort Ancient mounds in Ohio, and the Cahokia Mounds outside of Saint Louis. It is all very fascinating. Thank you for sharing!

At a glance, it looks like a knife of some sort, though with any sharp edge it might have had worn away. I am no expert, though, by any means! "Knife" is just the first thing I thought upon seeing the pics. I don't know of such things would be so dull, though. Water damage, perhaps? How wet was it where this was found, over time?
