Dedicate some images

Try photobucket.com... so you dont have to worry about hotlinking or bandwidth issues.

well.....this ~SOUNDS~ like a 'good idea' thread! Bummer your pics are not working, I would have liked to see them.
I, personally have no pics to contribute, I wish that I did....but maybe other people will....and this thread can ~THEN~ be dedicated to pics from hubble..

Verbal do you have photoshop? If so convert them to jpg format then they should work. As you have them now they are in TIF format, most servers do not support the tif format.

TIF is not dialup friendly either.

Nice images though.I used to have a whole folder full until I forgot to save to cd before format

I would like to see the collision images though. Those are always interesting to see.

Yes the are good photos. Keep them coming.

Isn't it amazing what hubble can do? I sure hope they keep the maintaince up on it, although I have heard they do not plan on it.

No photos, but I have some information. This site is about secret stuff, right?
The Hubble lense train was used on the Challenger to take photos of areas over North Korea and Russia. The information helped to bring down "the wall".
Too bad they had to cut so much structural bracing out of the Challenger due to its weight as a shuttle payload. Shear loads can be a "bitch" on compressive loaded O-rings.
Too bad we will be loosing such a great "gift" of science.
It changed the world.

OK, here are some images Hubble took of galaxies colliding.

And here is a link to google image search. It is my favorite way to see a large volume of images quickly.
Then you can open the ones that you prefer.

It does indeed suck that we will lose this thing. But wasnt it said that a newer, more powerful one was going to replace it?
