ACLU Board Member Resigns After Urging People To Kill Supporters Of Trump

The ACLU has 500,000 members. This guy is a Board Member (part of the organization's decision-making apparatus), if even 1 in every 10,000 of it's membership takes this loon seriously...there could be blood in the streets.

Let's hope the ACLU's membership is made up of 100% mentally stable individuals.

I'm sure he just hit the wrong button . it wasn't meant for everybody to see. Just his friends in the " Its ok to kill unborn babies but not murders club".

Like I keep saying, America has a mental health issue and cultural issue that Trumps the gun issue and as a testament to this observation I'll just reiterate that a board member for American Civil Liberties cannot accept opposing views therefore he not only is disrespecting their 1st amendment rights but advocates that they should be shot

Not only should he resign, he needs to seek help because he clearly has mental health issues, maybe even propaganditis.

Just agree people.

The ACLU needs to change their name to American SELECTIVE Liberties Union.

And should be designated a terrorist organization.

And maybe the FBI should investigate for HATE crimes.

The scariest part of this story is that mentally ill people like that can actually rise to the position of board member in the ACLU, I wonder how many other ACLU board members are like this guy?
I`m assuming that you don`t get to be a board member the first day that you join the ACLU so this guy must have been a member for a long time and in all that time nobody ever noticed that he was crazy? not only didn`t they notice he was insane they thought he represented the ACLU so well that they made him a board member.

We definitely have a mental health issue here in America but we also have idiots who get to caught up in politics and become overly emotional. Does this man have a history of violence? Does he own a gun? Either way, making threats of violence against someone is definitely cause for the police to come knocking at his door.

Well this could be interpreted as a call for terrorism.

He called for politically motivated violence and the statement itself is designed to evoke fear in the body politic.

This sort of thing is only going to increase in frequency if the division of the public is not amended some how. Right, left both sides feel like they are being persecuted and prevented from getting what they want.

No one with a mouth like his doesn't get as successful as he has without making some powerful enemies along the way.

IMAGINE the outrage here on ATS, if a Board Member of the NRA told everyone to shoot Hillary supporters.

There's really no way to minimize the severity of this very mentally ill person's actions.

Someone from the ACLU was against free speech and wanted/promoted the death of anyone who didn't think like him.

It was a horrible comment and could definitely be called terrorism. And if some one acts on these words than it would definitely be. Wonder how many will continue with their agreement that words alone can be seen as shuch beyond this thread though.

Really plz nobody kill trump, the world needs him for is daily comedy routine.

Heres hoping this man gets a visit by some men in uniform.

I think that by now with all the out spoken ways of Trump somebody out there already have a price on his head, I am sure that Mr. Trump is very well protected and no only by the secret police as a presidential hopeful.

Ahh, glad you chimed in! Crazy comes in all stripes. Even the lefties aren't immune it seems. But it'll be interesting to see if people are ready to demonize the more conservative culture with this glowing illustration of tolerance and understanding.
