I'm guessing they won't bother though.

Um maybe because not many people know about it? No Muslim has ever preach about it to non-Muslims?

In other word, nobody cares.

We all get along wonderfully and none of us would go out of our way to put up a stupid billboard to purposely make someone upset.

The point of atheist billboards is to give support to those who are still in the "religious closet".

A public message of support.

There is nothing stupid about it.

I'm sure the billboard asking Muslims to skip a holy day in their place of worship is on the way right?

There have already been atheist billboards directed at and in support of atheists in the Muslim community.

Yes! There are atheists among the Muslims.

I do believe that's an oxymoron. Do you mean Arabs?

Research it.

There is a lot of culture and behaviors within a belief that transcends God belief.

And @ Annie. No. Jews are a religion and a people. Muslim is a religion and not a people. Therefore a Jew could still be one and atheist while a Muslim would not. Atheism would deny Allah. Jeez. That's basic anthropology.

If you are rhubarb and want to call yourself asparagus doesn't make it so. Atheism is a disbelief in a higher power.... including Allah. Therefore it's impossible to be a Muslim atheist. You ain't arguing with me.... you're arguing with logic.

I'm not anti-Christmas. Nor was I always an unbeliever.

I base my opinions on the matter, on scripture.

But I am not preaching any message.

Just stating my understanding/opinion.

I couldn't care less who does or does not celebrate Christmas!

Who cares. What a way to derail this thread.

The fact remains that there are billboards for and against Islam.

I'm sorry that you took offence that reality disposed of your fantasy.

My fantasy?
What that people are not nice to each other?
Never thought they were.

That Christmas is pagan?
Knew that as well, even before I came to ats

Leaves me a little confused about what my fantasy is, be grateful if you pointed it out, clear up my confusion

Don't know if you have seen my post on the previous page but the Bible explicitly forbids pagan worship. Some Christians don't celebrate Christmas for this reason.

Worship?
Do christians celebrating christmas actively worship anything
The tree, Santa, presents?
They might celebrate the festivities with their familys though worshiping?
Maybe you might want to consider the word worship in context

and Intrepid, you may be right and JWs are christian, tell me though, what indicates christianity to you.

Jesus stated that many who call themselves christian wont meet the benchmark that was set

but of course you know better, than

Don't ask me. Ask them. Some Christians have denounced Christmas calling it pagan and idol worship using many, many verses in the Bible.

Anyway this is really in response to your statement in other post:

But to suggest Christians are sinners for celebrating christmas

You base this on what, educated guess, something you read, logic and reason?

So yes according to some, Christians are sinners for celebrating Christmas.
