I will try. Some lenses zoom, when you zoom it makes far away objects seem closer together.

The things you don't see in the aerial view are just out of frame. They're still there, and a zoom lens is going to make some things (like that pole) look like they're a lot closer to the subject (SUV) than they really are.

So if I took a picture of you in a field with a lighthouse (we're super romantic) behind you with a normal lens, it's going to look like the lighthouse is far away. If I use a telephoto lens I can make it look like the lighthouse is smaller and you're really close to it.

Have you seen pictures of people in front of the leaning tower of pisa?

She's doesn't look huge, the camera made it look small, and close to her. She was probably fairly far away.

You know how you rarely see a picture of a city that you can relate too? The buildings look more condensed and closer together? Same thing.

It's the next property down from the white picket fence.

Here, this may hopefully help to see the distances... Here's a better sized shot of your image above, the red line between the end of the picket fence and the first power pole is close to 20m.

It looks like they're right next to each other, but they're not.

But how do you explain the road looking thing above the drivers side (USA) door rear? That looks out of place to me.

It's not a road, it's part of a house.

Are you talking about the utility pole? It's perspective. All of this is perspective. Do you mean the brown thing or the grey thing?

Brown thing is a telephone poll, gray thing looks like a streetlight.

Lets not forget, google may have not updated this section of the map for some time.
When i view my house through google earth, it still shows a car in the driveway we had a few years ago.
There are enough picture through out this thread to arrive at the perspective conclusion.
It's ok my friend, some people are better at spacial awareness than others.
I learned how to read and write when i was 25, and here i am trying to compose posts, i admit, it hurts my head lol, but i like it.

I am referring to the crime scene picture I quoted not Google or anything else not a power pole not a house but what looks like a misplaced road or something above the suv I wish I had a way to circle the spot. And no way it's got anything to do with lenses or perspective, even the tree in the background doesn't look right.

I was not aware that you could get such drastic differing effects from lens compression (if that's the right word for it),

but it does make perfect sense when you see the photo with all of the telephone poles, and when you see the white lines look like a dotted line in other pictures - thanks for your contribution to this thread. I think this one can RIP

The mailbox made me wonder for a second. The zoom shots make it look so close to the trashcan. Even the aerial shot doesnt show a mailbox along the fence but with Street View you can see that it's behind the cypress tree. Street view also helps show how much compression distortion is there when you see how far away the Richardson street sign actually is.

So I guess These aren't the droids you're looking for.

So many real conspiracy theories out there, why try and make ridiculous theories out of things that make absolutely no sense at all?
You're really stretching if you're looking for conspiracy theories in this.

Another thought and question why do we begin with this.
When did he run? Did you see his gun go from the street to the curb on its own?
Watch the video it is showing the whole area.

0.36 mins

And then we get this.

If they pulled all of this stuff from the SUV it is not done orderly at all. They place markers on things as though they were there already part of a crime scene. This looks very like a drill situation. Again we get bodies in different positions in different shots, one of the first I saw had a body and nearby leaning on the concrete curb one of the machine guns.
How and when did this happen? They said this one ran from the vehicle here still clearly alive head raised.

2nd body? Wearing shorts or what? They said they dressed in tactical gear? The Woman I assume in this picture.

At this point no stuff on the ground.
Then they surrounded the SUV is the yellow vehicle by the first body?

Doesn't look like it from here

Graphic picture (WHEN did this happen? When did they blow his head away?No blood anymore?)
nodisinfo.com...
So what is going on here? The bomb group all gone did they tear all of this out of the vehicle and just throw it and then later we see them mark it like evidence? When did the girls body appear and why is there no shots of the ambulance that took both away?

So they moved the body and this gun when?(found it) Why is the first picture of the guy the gun in in the street not on the curb?Ton of blood, none from the Woman at all.

Then there is this everywhere.

Sally Abdelmageed, who worked inside the center where the attack occurred, claimed in an interview broadcast on CBS News that there were three assailants.
“I heard shots fired and it was from – you know – an automatic weapon,” Abdelmageed told the network, adding it was all “very unusual. Why would we hear shots? As we looked out the window a second set of shots goes off [...] and we saw a man fall to the floor. Then we just looked and we saw three men dressed in all black, military attire, with vests on. They were holding assault rifles. As soon as they opened up the doors to building three [...] one of them [...] started to shoot into the room.”

Last question, why do we have the suspects in all of these cases show up in media only in the worst possible form thus bending reality?? This couple looked like any other Americans, she did not run around with her head covered at work. They had all the things we all want and he is even shown with a raised whiskey bottle in celebration in one photo, a radical would not drink.

Yeah. I think everyone 'gets' that the SUV has been photographed from a completely head-on perspective in most of the second set of pics. But, it is parked at an angle and the street/curb is not a head-on view.

Seriously, it's not that people 'don't understand' what you are saying, it's just that some people disagree with your conclusions.

You can stop reiterating the same point.

Well this shows blocks, I don't see the things that should be there. So the guy was down right at the start.

Frankly this thread makes me sad and embarrassed for ATS. The fact that it's gotten as many flags as it did blows my mind.

People are being intentionally ignorant about actual science. It's not opinion, it's science. People are throwing logic right the hell on out the window because conspiracy.

Not one of you, not one damn person, has answered my very simple question: how do you explain them moving an entire crime scene in front of not only overhead, live feed cameras but also God knows how many members of the press on the ground, many of whom were also shooting live, and then the freaking residents of the street and all the other onlookers.

Why hasn't such a simple, logic-bound question been answered?

Because it can't be. And that's why this is so embarrassing to me. Being willfully ignorant to see what you want to see regardless of actual fact is as far from "deny ignorance" as it gets. I'm out.

They have a flashy thing (they showed it on men in Black) that makes you remember what they want

What is so wrong with trying to make sense of things that don't seem to make sense?

I thank you, too. Nothing wrong with giving this event a very close look. I appreciate your interesting contributions.

As I stated earlier, this event is the impetus for Trump's suggested ban on Muslims -- and it's giving democrats some serious political mileage, right now.

And with some 'players' being former Navy members..well, that's come up before in my experience. I find it all circumstantially hinky -- evidence or not. 'They' will never investigate the suspects that actually gain from these mass-shootings, so circumstantial evidence it is!

I agree its probably a combination of perspective, zoom, focal lens that sort of stuff. The one thing that im stuck on though is the blue trash bin. In this photo, unless it was knocked down the street somehow and landed straight up by coincidence or something, its been placed halfway between the red house on the left and the white house on the right.

Why? I don't know if it belongs to the red house or the white house but why move it from wherever its kept outside on the property to the mid point between the houses when it could just be put at the end of the driveway on pickup day? That baffles me but maybe there's a reason? Regardless of which house it goes to, it makes much more sense to me to just go the green route rather than the red route, does it not? Why bother moving it halfway between the two homes when it could just be put at the end of the driveway?

Just struck me as odd, don't think its all that important though.

It probably was put at end of driveway, truck picking them up slows down, picks bin up and whilst emptying it keeps driving slowly, and puts it down when empty, without stopping.

Wouldn't that put the Garbage truck going against traffic?

I certainly can't explain these things but would the kind people that think this is a camera perspective issue like to address a few things?

1. Do they allow power lines to grow directly through large bushy trees in California? Also, why are these trees absent in half the photos including aerial shots?

2. A fire hydrant install is big time city work. You have to shut down the water, dig out the road and sidewalk to get to the water line, and then tap into it. How do you explain it not being in certain photos but right by the police in another? That's a discrepancy that can't be explained with 2+2=5.

Also the mailbox, not as complex as the construction site needed to add a hydrant but not something you toss in the ground mid crime scene. It is also in some photos and not others, including being absent in aerials. Another major discrepancy.

3. My biggest problem though is definitely with the road that blasts right down the middle of the picket fence in this photo. Where did it come from and what is the pixelated blob it goes too? The Lines for this road extend all the way into the foreground by the cop. It is the same kind of road that jaynkeel pointed out by the drivers door in another photo. Perspective? Portal? Star-gate? Messed up Photoshopping?

Thanks in advance for anyone who has a logical explanation for any one of these discrepancies without resorting back to, "It's all camera perspective". Cameras do not make things appear out of no where.
