Who said 'parts of NYC look like AFGHANISTAN'?

For the life of me I remember a commentator on Fox (might have been on the OReilly/Xfactor shows, or maybe even O Reilly himself lol) but the person was talking about the threat of terror post-911 and talking in context of mideast/sasian hoods. I think the person referenced Queens county and specifically Richmond Hill wherever that is (isn't there also a Richmond hill in Canada)?

I don't know about NYC, but there are definitely parts of Detroit that do.

There are only very few parts of New York City that are unsafe and no where does it look like Afghanistan. The South Bronx used to be close but that area is not even remotely as bad as it used to be.

My two thought was well there ought to be at least 2 little or town for every nationality in such an acclaimed 'melting pot' esp when most of America looks like England with most every sign and person speaking English.. Where'd all the natives go?

Doubt it and duobt the commentator ever been there; I do remember having the best sheesh kabob on the east coast, over there. Think the place was called afgan house in Jackson Hts little india

My husband spend three weeks in the outskirts of Detroit on business he said the same thing, when he arrived in the city where he was to be doing business he said that it look like when he arrived in Saudi Arabia during desert storm.

He said he didn't know that some cities in America has changed soo much.

I bet the pavement there is better than some parts of the Bronx
