Knowing the reasons behind the "major factors" shed's a bit more light. Bet you would disagree that Hitler actually tried to use diplomatic methods, but was refused outright. Those Poles sure made a big stir when they amassed their army after finding they have Britain's support. You could even say it started a world war.

Trump is as mainstream as it gets right now, he's leading the polls.

I wouldn't be surprised if Trump actually wins, he seems to fit the narrative being produced by those in power perfectly. He's rich, bigoted, egotistical, and non-PC. What better candidate could there be to lead the "free-world"? He represents everything about those who are behind the political curtain.

Trump is a joke, but has been playing his cards right.

What I want to know is how far do we let this go? Those that support Trump are becoming more and more comfortable with making racists, xenophobic comments and Trump is only emboldening them to go further down the extreme path.

Look at ATS. From an outside observer, ATS may look like a site where racists can ran't about "thugs" and Muslims. That's not why I joined ATS but it is quickly becoming that way.

It used to be unacceptable to be racially biased, bigoted and xenophobic. You would get ostracized and called out for it in a heartbeat. Now? With Trump on stages nation-wide, people aren't as afraid to let their inner prejudices fly. It's now becoming more and more acceptable to point fingers at ethnic/cultural groups and paint with broad brushes.

Trump is legitimizing general rudeness, disrespect, and douchiness for all of his little Trumpkins under the guise of The War On Political Correctness.

I'll say this about the bloke, he appears to be neither pandering to the left or the right but is continuously saying things that he believes are true and correct whether the political establishment agrees with his sentiments or not.

I think that US politicians have a rival like no other - he is an enigma - every time he goes full retard he gets more popular and whether by design or otherwise, it is a reflection on the US voter when poll show his consistent rise in popularity.

There is going to be hell toupee' when the political correction precious snowflake crowd wake up one day to The Don as the Captain - there will be no more soup for them.

Yep.

Unfortunately, people are brainwashed by what they think they know to be real. When you realize that most of the history we are taught is either a lie, or not telling the whole story, it's easier to figure out what is actually going on.

The brainwashing and propaganda runs so deep that it becomes almost impossible to wake people up. The only chance you have is with people who already realize things aren't right, and want to know the truth no matter what. Some people know things aren't right, but will only go so far down the rabbit hole. It's hard to come to terms with the idea that everything you know is basically a lie.

Some people only want to know the lies about things that benefit their current biases.

It's always easier to fool someone than to convince them that they have been fooled.
