Judicial Watch doesn't make up stories.

Actually, they are known for doing just that. JW was founded by a conspiracy nut that liked to file frivolous lawsuits against Leftists. The man that took over is the same way.

Did you know that JW used to be considered a good source until the MSM was found to be spreading JW lies when they used it as a source?

Please research whom you are talking about before you spread propaganda.

Calling someone a "cospiracy nut" on a conspiracy website is idiotic. A clear ad hominum, and quite devoid of any real counterargument.

Some call it idiotic while other's call it Denying Ignorance...it's a fine line of distinction sometimes between the two.

Or because something dangerous coming across the boarder, carried by middle-eastern (likely Muslim) men wouldn't fit Obama's "reality".

Of course it's bull#. What JW and other "conservative" sites do is create stories based on half-truths or outright lies and sit back while the idiots out there hit their web pages en mass.

It's click bait.

When their BS is exposed, their brainwashed supporters don't have enough integrity to admit they've been duped and make up some of the silliest excuses to defend them.

Confirmation bias is more popular than the truth. And the truth is that these sites, and the people that believe it, have a problem with telling the truth.

The real question is why this website still accepts Judicial Watch as a source, they lack all credibility and outright fabricate stories on a regular basis.

Isn't that an odd coincidence?

Isn't 72 also the number of virgins a martyr gets when they die advancing the cause of Islam?

I've never quite understood that one... The Muslim culture is said to have raised the level of mathematics long ago. I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that I read that they were the first to develop the concept of "zero".

That said, I'd think any male that has ever had a girlfriend or been married would see the equation like this:

Eternity ÷ 72 virgins = ANYTHING but Paradise!

To stay on topic...

I highly doubt that the Border Patrol would appreciate the implication that they are such dim bulbs that they wouldn't recognize a thermos when they see one. It's a shame that anyone that believes that probably won't get the chance to imply that face-to-face, preferably while they're off duty.

What the hell is a 'steel cylinder' and who are 'middle eastern men'.

Sounds like a couple of lost mexicans with some heating duct trying to find a job site.

How far away was this scientific observation made?

There was no mention of the nationality of the men nor what happened to the 3 not taken into custody by DHS. Were they US citizens or not? Are the 3 still in border patrol custody? Also, they were not caught crossing the border. They were apprehended 30+ miles from the border. We have no way of knowing what was in the cylinders because the border patrol did not open them; instead they got "alarmed" and called DHS. Certainly there is nothing wrong with being vigilant, but the simplest answer is usually the correct one. In this case, it seems that the simplest answer is 5 guys went hiking/backpacking in the desert with stainless steel, cylindrical shaped thermoses containing water. Forgive me if I don't irrationally jump to conclusions based upon a sketchy report from a less that fairly balanced "news" source. I'll wait for additional details before getting my man panties in a wad, like any rational adult.

Seriously? After this apologist post for radical Islam I wouldn't call them your "man panties." More like little girl panties. And if you think there's more details coming, you're probably going to be waiting for along time. If you were right, there wouldn't be denials and dodging the issues by these agencies at all, they'd come out and say 5 guys went for a hike and had some coffee along because, you know, it doesn't get hot enough in the desert.

Not in the least bit. Thats exactly what popped into my head. I don't like the look of any of this. All it will take to further tremendously erode our civil liberties, maybe even fully eradicate them, is an attack even just half the severity of 9/11. All in the name of national security though, right? Yeah. No.

Those with their heads in the sand, or even those easily frightened, will be begging to be protected. Even if that means burning the Bill of Rights. They won't care one bit. As long as the boogeyman doesn't get them.

Being a conspiracy theorist on a conspiracy site is just fine. Being a known liar that likes to make ps fantasy conspiracies to push an agenda is a "nut".

I know that may hurt some feelings, but we should be able to look at issues with a lean towards conspiracy without going full retard.

Unfortunately, many go full retard and if you throw Obama or the Left in to the mix, too many on this site lose all objectivity and common sense.

That's the problem, Neo. Most of the things you think make this administration a "fraud" is completely false.

I know you don't believe this administration has any integrity and lacks honesty, but the same thing can be said of you guys that make-up lies and use it to bash Leftists. You guys have a lot in common with those you claim to be against.

That's not a personal attack, I'm just calling the fraud as it is.

Try again.

The problem are those who hang, and believe every word they say.

99% of what people say about the US government is TRUE.

Some just call it 'lies' because they live in a delusional world , and think they never do anything wrong.

They are few and far between. I know you actually believe everyone that doesn't believe exactly as you do is a radical Obama-lover, but that does not mean it's true. It means what you believe is not rooted in reality.

99% of what people say about the US government is TRUE.

That's hyperbole and laughably false. 99%?

In your words, try again. We're not dumb enough to believe something so ludicrous.

Some just call it 'lies' because they live in a delusional world they never do anything wrong.

I call it lies because a lot of the things you and others believe are demonstrably false. You guys will lie, make stuff-up out of the blue and take things to such an extreme level that even the nuttiest of conspiracy theorists stand in awe at your lunacy.

Again, not a personal attack. That's a reasonable observation of the current state of affairs.

Oh.........wow..........

That there is no record of any of these men or the incident (according to the sources from JW) is as disturbing to be as the fact that they were able to waltz across the border with the cylinders in the first place. Someone has to know something. I'd guess silence was ordered from VERY high up.

I saw this earlier, but didn't get a chance to read it yet. Will do now.
Very serious stuff.
We ignore these warnings at our own peril.

This is disturbing. Since I don't trust the Obama administration as far as I can throw them, my immediate thought was the number of muslims he has placed in high positions within Homeland Security and dozens of them are even on the Watch List. Who met up with these men? What agency did they claim to be from? Where did the canisters go?

Yeah you're right. Shouldn't jump the gun on things like this. If you see middle eastern men crossing the Mexican border into the states carting stainless steel cylinders it's best to assume they are just filled with coffee or a nice lobster bisque and just let them go their merry way.

You don't let someone "just go" with a nice lobster bisque. You confiscate "alleged lobster bisque", test it thoroughly (typically by consuming), then hand back the container, giving the international "I've got my eyes on you" sign.
