Judicial Watch doesn't make up stories.
Actually, they are known for doing just that. JW was founded by a conspiracy nut that liked to file frivolous lawsuits against Leftists. The man that took over is the same way.
Did you know that JW used to be considered a good source until the MSM was found to be spreading JW lies when they used it as a source?
Please research whom you are talking about before you spread propaganda.

Of course it's bull#. What JW and other "conservative" sites do is create stories based on half-truths or outright lies and sit back while the idiots out there hit their web pages en mass.
It's click bait.
When their BS is exposed, their brainwashed supporters don't have enough integrity to admit they've been duped and make up some of the silliest excuses to defend them.
Confirmation bias is more popular than the truth. And the truth is that these sites, and the people that believe it, have a problem with telling the truth.

Isn't that an odd coincidence?
Isn't 72 also the number of virgins a martyr gets when they die advancing the cause of Islam?

There was no mention of the nationality of the men nor what happened to the 3 not taken into custody by DHS. Were they US citizens or not? Are the 3 still in border patrol custody? Also, they were not caught crossing the border. They were apprehended 30+ miles from the border. We have no way of knowing what was in the cylinders because the border patrol did not open them; instead they got "alarmed" and called DHS. Certainly there is nothing wrong with being vigilant, but the simplest answer is usually the correct one. In this case, it seems that the simplest answer is 5 guys went hiking/backpacking in the desert with stainless steel, cylindrical shaped thermoses containing water. Forgive me if I don't irrationally jump to conclusions based upon a sketchy report from a less that fairly balanced "news" source. I'll wait for additional details before getting my man panties in a wad, like any rational adult.

Calling someone a "cospiracy nut" on a conspiracy website is idiotic. A clear ad hominum, and quite devoid of any real counterargument.

ATS is a conspiracy website.
Were not cheerleaders for the administration.
We call it out for the fraud it is.
That's the problem, Neo. Most of the things you think make this administration a "fraud" is completely false.
The problem are those who hang, and believe every word they say.
99% of what people say about the US government is TRUE.
Some just call it 'lies' because they live in a delusional world they never do anything wrong.

Oh.........wow..........
That there is no record of any of these men or the incident (according to the sources from JW) is as disturbing to be as the fact that they were able to waltz across the border with the cylinders in the first place. Someone has to know something. I'd guess silence was ordered from VERY high up.

Yeah you're right. Shouldn't jump the gun on things like this. If you see middle eastern men crossing the Mexican border into the states carting stainless steel cylinders it's best to assume they are just filled with coffee or a nice lobster bisque and just let them go their merry way.
