He's what he's always been. Its just that this time, he's finally painted himself into a corner politically, with bad/unpopular policies compounding upon each other, magnified by his own tendency to rush to judgement and his typical unwillingness to consider that his opponents...horrors...might actually be right.

I read a piece last year about this very issue. They called it "compulsive Obama hatred disorder" or "Obama Derangement Syndrome".

When you couple that with studies, such as the University of Nebraska study that found more "conservative" people tend to be more easily frightened, paranoid and negative in nature, it is no wonder that any discussion they have about damn near any topic will, by default, become negative and attack those they feel are some sort of threat to their myopic thinking.

This is why we have threads like this, and countless more, in which the actual topic is a small side-note to the overwhelming fact that they have to express hatred and fear for whomever their target is.

Not really, unless the beardy muslim looking man with an Isalmic name and his Islamic outfit wearing Muslim wife are somehow not Muslims. Regardless of their associations with terrorist groups its not ATS convincing me there is something slightly more untrustworthy about people who rate their god higher than an actual human life.

The lack of security of the WH has been demonstrated frequently, and I'm not at all sure that those were staged incidents as some people have suggested. Just a few days ago I saw a story that reported that airport security failed to find 3 of 4 weapons in carry-on luggage during an inspection.
So, yeah, he's in need of a good long pull on that crack pipe about now I suspect.

There was no direct link in the sense that they ordered or provided material support for this attack, however, the FBI is saying that the perpetrators may have been inspired by ISIS propaganda and that the woman, at least, pledged support to them.
