In fact, while the gay community does owe Obama thanks for his openness toward gay people, what is the point of gay marriage if the whole world is going to all hell in a handbag and neither you or I can live in safety?

Please don't be fooled by Obama's agenda.. He set out to make our the US military look weak and incompetent!! He has undermined them so many times throughout the ISIS blow up!! Russia is not superior to our boys! But Obama has set us all up to turn against our military! To blame them for failed attempts at rescues when it is he who tied their hands by these ridiculous rules of engagement!! WE have incredible weapons that most of the world cannot even imagine!! But guess what? They are not allowed to use them!!!

Obama is not an American so why do you think he would want to do anything for us? He hates us! His idea all along has been to make the US fall from the number one super power and have the third world countries rise up!!!

He purposely has allowed Russia to look like the hero by his inaction and poor attempt to keep us in a war "sort of" By having Russia fight Isis and we have our feet in Syria he will join together when the UN declares there has been an act of war committed against NATO via the Paris attacks and then since Russia is not a member of NATO they will be forced out!! Then Obama will use this opportunity to up seat Assad and create another HUGE vacuum for someone much worse to come in and reek HELL on all of us!!!

Obama is a very dangerous man and the rest of the world needs to realize this!!

America is strong, but it is not invincible. The thing is that Russia is not a fool nor is it to be taken lightly. Putin can and is probably the most likely candidate to use nukes if he really gets shafted in Syria. Besides, what is our beef with Russia in the west anyway?

The only nations before Syria that Russia has had conflict with are parts of the former USSR - infighting resulting from a shattered empire. There are many lessons and warnings for the US to heed over the breakdown of the former USSR

Putin threatened nukes in Ukraine. He might actually do it in Syria.

While you are correct, Putin actually wants to do something about it. He wants to co-operate with western nations to stamp out crime and corruption. He had some real headaches with places like vladivostok in his first presidency and had to get rid of some oligarchs.

He has also proposed a super highway from Europe to the USA through Russia. That is the sort of thing someone who wants to unite the world does, not an egomaniac who wants to crush the west....

The biggest problem with Russia is that we are all programmed to think they are the old KGB and communist guard. We are uneducated about them. So I personally did something about that and was surprised at what I learned.

No, i vehemently disagree with you!!! Obama is so stupid about this!!! Please tell me how stricter gun laws would have prevented yesterdays attack in Cal.?? They would not have and do you know why??? Because in America it is illegal to own an AK 47!! You can not buy automatic long guns at a gun show or dealer legally!!! So tighter gun laws would not have helped one bit!!!

I tell you what, If Obama wanted to stop gun violence he would make it mandatory that every head of house own at least one gun!! He would require numerous safety classes, a clean background check and numerous written psychological evaluations!! Then he would offer free target shooting and self defense classes only after the criteria had been met....

The reason so many people died yesterday was because in California it is very difficult to own a gun legally!! But if every other person or maybe 3 would have had a weapon there would not have been 14 fatalities!!! Yes some but not as many!!

And the next dickhead that decides he's gonna go shoot up a place will think twice before he pulls that BS when he realizes 1-12 people may be armed and he will die NO DOUBT ABOUT IT!!

I saw another poster say that giving the shooter time is what kills so many!!! Time for the cops to respond etc!!

You got that right!! He can't be! And where it would be a relief to be able to trust him we would be fools!! He has reacted so strongly to the shoot down by Turkey but in all fairness, I think that was a STUPID MOVE by Turkey and Erdogan is another damn fool when he could have done a lot by just apologizing to Putin privately or even publicly!!! You are spot on about Patton. His entire thoughts were only on one thing. Winning. He did not give a rat's tail what anyone thought of him. From the President on down to the troops he commanded. And , as I knew a veteran of Patton's 3rd Army , the troops he commanded were very loyal and thought greatly of the man. Theywould have followed him into the "Pits of Hell" grinning.(not my words)

But do we need a President like Patton ? Patton arrived at a time in history when he was precisely needed.Times are much different today. The enemy does not , for the most part, have easily recognizable uniforms or equipment . Puts everyone at a disadvantage. They call it terrorism , I call it "dirty warfare". Worse than Vietnam as even then the Viet Cong wore uniforms.

In my opinion , what we need now is a President that does not back up and even tougher commanders under him. That is where we need a "Patton" Someone to advise this President on how we should handle the whole ISIS situation. What it looks like so far , we have a weak Commander in Chief and a bunch of "yes" men surrounding him and advising him.
