I think it is you who needs to re-read his whole OP. He isn't asking for a handout and in fact is high lighting the observations that the whites are blamed for the other mans failings.

I believe plenty of compensation has gone around in settling native peoples claims, in the US and here in Australia. He like me is tired of paying taxes to compensate for someone looting you people 150 years ago. We make easy milking cows.

Not true, African blacks were supplyiing slaves to the white man to send to the USA. There were also Black plantation farmers utilizing slave labour in the Southern US States; easy enough to research.

That, I am sure, is how it looks to you. But a prospective employer may see it differently. Until we see you and hear you speak (and smell you, maybe) we have no idea what to believe. But it sounds as if you feel that you should be given a job because you're white and male. Nobody owes you a job, you know.

I am a white man and all I feel is unconditional love for the entire human race. Everyone who isn't rich struggles. Dividing ourselves when we all share the same strife is pointless. The man next to you is your brother no matter the color of his skin. If we all learn to work together we can make sure that everyone wins and that no one faces discrimination or impoverishment. History is history, instead of pointing fingers we can guarantee just by loving one another that such things never happen again. Many of us struggle just like the op so we can all be united in saying we can make it together.

Why dont we get rid of Social Security and safety nets? They were white mans inventions after all. Let everyone fend for themselves. Lets aim, for that meritocracy that Ayn Rand strived for.
