Actually....the U S has out of this world weapons......special to America....no...exclusive to the America military.

Russia is advanced in missiles and radar but lacking the next gen aircraft that America has and also lacking in training that the best in the west have

They are rumoured to be a lot more advanced with lasers :-/ who knows!

It's kind of a balance in that area. They're ahead in lasers, but the DEW field is large, and we're ahead in other areas.

I agree.......US is ahead in SOME areas and lacking in others but that does not matter when the enemy has already infiltrated the US military and its government. What good are these weapons if they will NEVER be used?

Just because you attended a live fire demonstration does not mean you know the technical info of the equipment or its metallurgy.

Same with Russia and the Chinese. And what about the 1.3 billion Chinese or the 143 million Russians? They have decided to join together to fight ISIS, what if they decide to join the fight against the U.S. or better yet attack a U.S ally then what?

Hey OP did you hear about Russia's latest weapon? They are using it in response to Americas latest Aircraft. Every time they see one of our newer aircraft they have implemented this new response.

It's called Frequency Amplitude Positioning or FAP for short and they fire it off every time the US Assets are around. Apparently it's the secret behind making Russia's rockets pop off so fast and why they have a lead in that arena. Russian Servicemen have been instructed to use FAP in discretion as it would be a real eye opener to the west over Russian Policies when dealing with foreign made (specifically American) weaponry and their responses to it. Russian Servicemen have stated though that it's wide deployment is not their fault. Stating that it's so sensitive that when America's latest generation jets fly by it practically goes off by it's self. Russian scientists though are hard at work getting it to not "Self-FAP" as misfires are embarrassing, and the damage done, difficult to clean up.

Correspondence was made between the US and Russia over their usage of FAP as inappropriate but Russia vehemently denies the practice. However, we have an fairly intrusive ISR system called Primary Emission Enhancement Protocall (PEEP) and we see everything.

Are you talking about optics?

Some of the best optics in the world come from Europe (Zeiss comes to mind) and can easily look through clouds. Zeiss optics are in most surveillance satellites. I have seen scopes that are daylight scopes but can see in the dark (not I.R or any other type white HOT, black HOT (HEAT) optics.....they are that good......military grade of course.

EDIT LATER: I am out of the loop, dropped from the rolls........ so today I am in the dark like most people. Once you leave you are forgotten and cut off.

Oh No, this system is strictly emissions based that the Russians are using. Does require Optics to initiate the sequence though.



As far as scopes go. Russia has their claims, but the world agrees ours are bigger.

Why are you saying Russia will attack USA. In last 30 years there is no a single sign that Russia wants to conquer USA.

Why are you Americans so afraid. If anyone will make you to go war with Russia it will be Russia defending and you attacking, just like in all the recent wars...

The problem is that both sides are vulnerable to Base Operating Overload Bandwidth Subjunction or (BOOBS) for short and once the boobs are deployed all systems automatically track and cannot lose eye contact.

The Basic Asymmetric Control Optical Network (BACON) is also considered by most military viewers as a tasty target especially when used in large scale

Base Operating Overload Bandwidth Subjunction is no joke. It's devastating when utilized in pairs. Typical of Russia they tried making one that utilized a triplicate system hoping one more is better but it turned out that they caused phased dissonance on the american optics and had the opposite effect. Hence why they invented Basic Asymmetric Control Optical Network feeling it was tailor made to render Americans defenseless. Alas, their own servicemen and their equipment were also victim to BACON and BOOBS.
