I honestly just came across her latest video by a complete accident. Slow news day, slow internet day so, I visited a site I hadn't been on in a long time.

I've been trying to understand this whole Syria/refugee situation a little better and that's where I found myself today...watching her video.

She looks robotic, I think, because she is reading or referring to a prompter or something written to the side. No matter. Her understanding reflects mine and many here. May Syria survive.

Sounds about right to me. When Syria stated that they wanted to sell oil for Russian Rubels and Chinese Yuan he became our boogeyman. Oil companies run our country and our petrodollar is the only reason the US is not bankrupt right now. Well we are but were the minion of the international cartel of bankers and corporations in the fortune 500. We need to stay the hell out of the middle east. Let them do their own thing. We shouldn't be toppling governments and setting up nut jobs who want to play ball with us as dictators.

I visited Syria in 2009 and of course the whole Axis of evil view of Syria was completely wrong (I knew that already of course).

The Syrians were extremely friendly and hospitable. It makes me very sad that a lot of the places I visited have been shot up or bombed not to mention the massive loss of life.

I watched her video and she is spot on.

I just hope that the stupidity and loss of life can stop...

Unfortunately a great many were lost when her original YT account got suspended (she was defending Palestinians at the time). She has been interviewed by Corbett report etc so is reasonably well known by people that frequent alternative news services.

A view of a place is not necessarily predicated on the people on the ground but the government. In the case of dictatorship, it only takes on to make the place evil.

Libya had free housing, free college, and medical care, and was Central Bank free and debt free....you see what happened to them.

It's funny how allot of dictators can run their countries better than most democracies, and actually stand for the people.

One of the very first things the rebels did after overthrowing Gaddafi was start a new central bank. So I understand why that would be the first thing she would mention.
