The Cia's job, is to keep the Military Industrial Complex Share holders in a perpetual flow of cash, so their Billionaire life styles never wane.

Why else would we be killing muslims? well other than their naive nutjobs that make good target practice

I was thinking the cowardliness of hiding among the civilian population. Its the same thing Hamas does. When a response does come they get their propaganda with dead civilians.

That is not what this is about. Get your head out of Obamas backside for a minute and see why these people are quitting. Its because the President and JSOC are killing people who do not need to be and are not terrorist at all. They know that just from seeing the kill list. The list tells them why they are wanted, the one they get to see anyway. Plus these drone pilots watch them in great detail for very long hours. If the list says he is some terrorist mastermind and they have been watching him for days coming and going from his house to work in the fields having no contact with anyone as a farmer out in the middle of nowhere, then get an order to shoot a Hellfire at his forehead just as he is about to walk into his home of five kids, they get pretty dishearten and pissed to say the least.

I always saw Russia as the east. How have you interpreted them as part of the West?? North America/Japan/Korea/Europe/NATO - the West, is Oceania. Eurasia being central east europe and parts of middle east and Russia/China/India and others completing East Asia as planned out in Orwell's vision. Seem rather accurate to me, with North Africa, Arabian Peninsula, former Soviet republic bloc central asian states completing that triangle of death and terror.

How wonderful it is to see the future unfold nearly exactly as predicted.

Well, it all depends on the way you hold the world map isn't it...
Seriously, for me the old designations doesn't matter anymore today.
The media still wants the public to choose a stance in the East vs West paradigma and I've recently realised that it doesn't serve any purpose other then to divert the attention of affairs that truly matter most currently.

That's telling testimony, for certain. I can well believe it. Destableizing things seems to be something this administration enjoys, and such attacks would go a long way toward that.

This makes sense to you?

Do you know how much it costs to keep a drone on station? How much for a Hellfire, just by itself?

If you wanted to just kill some random civilian, there are a lot cheaper ways to do it.

Plus the rigmarole to get on the list is long, painful and expensive as well.

It sounds like we need to find some REAL 'Mericans to fly these drones.

If you work for the gubment, and they want you to blow up some kids overseas with a drone, you do it!

If you work for the gubment, and they want you to blow up terrorist/civilians back at home, you do it!

You don't question the gubment. Questioning the gubment means your a terrorist.

The myopic perspective displayed in some these posts is very disturbing.

I was just following orders is NEVER a justification for crimes against humanity.
Although highlited within Nazi culture, it never started or ended with them.
From the calvary man ordered to kill Native American women and children to Serbian solders ordered to rape females of another ethnic
background. If somehow you think an American drone operator is exempt because the "war on terror" is so very different from all previous conflicts.....welcome to patriotic cognitive dissonance at it's finest.

Yes, the war on terror is completely different.

Most of the "few % of the 1.5 billion" terrorists are quite happy to disguise themselves as civilians (refugees), hide among civilians (hospitals, schools) to save themselves, kill our civilians, and kill their own civilians / families / children.

So yeah, you'll have to just complain to yourself if you think it makes sense, to demonize the US for accidentally killing some civilians while our enemies do it with a vengeance, day in / day out.

That doesn't make sense in any universe, but go ahead and serve yourself up as the first victim, please. Since you want to moan and groan about every effort to stop any of it.

Oh boy, you're a piece of work really.

Saved us globally 3 or 4 times now? You mean be the pyromaniac and fireman?
Seriously, you exist to protect the global elite, the bankers the oligarchy.

The fact you call us " euros " tells more about you then anything else.

Ah, it's just a friendly euphemism for "incapable of not trying to kill each other, solve it when it gets going, or protect themselves from much of anything".

Don't feel bad.......Africa, Asia, Middle East, Central / South America are just as bad. Something about no constitution to give the people any hope against never-ending dictatorships, theocracies, and lunatic revolutions.

Sorry to interrupt your tirade of derping nonsense and propaganda but just to point out the USA is not the only country in the world with a constitution or even the first.

Only one to use it smartly enough to avoid theocracy, oligarchy / royalty, and socialism-communism-naziism-islam dictatorships.

Four ex U.S. Air Force drone pilots blow the whistle that OBAMA'S administration drone strikes had nothing to do with terrorism but murder! Even one of the drone pilot's mother's were threatened by the U.S. Air Force OSI agency.

Four former Air Force drone pilots went public, exposing that many of the Obama administration’s drone strikes have been indiscriminate murder that has nothing to do with fighting Islamic terrorism. Since then, they have had their bank accounts and credit cards frozen by the federal government that they blew the whistle on.

In an open letter to Barack Obama, Defense Secretary Ashton Carter and Central Intelligence Agency John Brennan, the four men provided details about drone strike missions.

“We are former Air Force service members,” the four men begin in their letter. We joined the Air Force to protect American lives and to protect our Constitution. We came to the realization that the innocent civilians we were killing only fueled the feelings of hatred that ignited terrorism and groups like ISIS, while also serving as a fundamental recruiting tool similar to Guantanamo Bay. This administration and its predecessors have built a drone program that is one of the most devastating driving forces for terrorism and destabilization around the world.”

Now, reports are that drone pilots are quitting in record numbers. Within a 12 month period, the Air Force lost 240 trained pilots! Now, the LA Times is reporting that the Air Force is hiring civilian defense contractors to fly MQ-9 Reaper drones, and are boosting the pay for new drone pilots.

LINK

If ex-drone pilots are screaming murder, then they would be the ones who would know and if this is true then what I find even scarier is the thousands of trained drone pilots who agree with the current policy and continue to kill innocent civilians.

Pointing the blame at Obama and his administration gets nothing accomplished. IMO the next time one of the drone pilots starts his whistle blow campaign he should start naming names at the unit level, get those military officers names out on the net and in newspapers, all the way up through Battalion and Squadron/Division level who give the green light to go ahead with the missile launch and to strike targets.

When looking how fast and far Russia has advanced within Syria with attacking the terrorist in such a short time period compared to the U.S. dragging its feet and with all of the technology that the USA has along with its military might they appear as if they are not competent on the battlefield.

Well, technically, if they were killing innocent civilians they violated LOAC and they are the murderer's. It's their job to disobey unlawful orders. As much as I despise Obama, I doubt these kill orders were handed down from him. And the fact that they cited something that happened like 5 years ago makes me really question the validity of these claims.

Having read the article it makes a lot if accusations with no evidence. Even the supposed harassment if their families us funny.. The airforce notified her to be careful she is placed on a hit list by terrorists. Of course she was her son admitted publicly to killing him. Think that fact would be obvious to her already her son put a bulls eye on his entire family by admitting he killed him. That's why you don't discuss operations and set yourself up to be a target in the first place.

The other thing it talks about a terrorist working against the us should be put on trial. Really and how exactly think he's going to return to the US? I don't so that leaves a snatch and grab or an air strike to get him. I doubt we want to send us troops to pick up every terrorist and arrest them. And with the videos he released it's obvious he renounced his citizenship don't you think?

Accusations and demands are a good beginning. This is worth any and all scrutiny - our president and the USA has a lot to answer for. Obama has said he accepts full responsibility - I for one am curious to see where all this leads us

US Congress must launch urgent inquiry into Obama’s drone use

The U.S. Congress must launch an immediate independent inquiry into the Obama administration’s drone strikes overseas, Amnesty International said following today’s publication of a series of files and documents disclosing long-standing secrets of the global killing program.

“The Drone Papers,” leaked by an anonymous whistle-blower to the online media outlet The Intercept, reveal the startling human costs of armed drone use and highlight chronic flaws in the decision-making process behind the strikes carried out in multiple countries.

Can you kill a human simply because your government tells you to?

If your in the military and they say you do then yes you do.

You take an oath to obey the orders given to you.

The Oath of Enlistment (for enlisted):

"I, _____, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."

www.military.com...

Sorry but that's the reality of joining the military.

I'll flip burgers.......

Why are you flipping the burgers, and not just leaving them alone...because your boss told you too.

I am not condoning the practice, but they made the decision on their own to join the military...nobody forced them to become drone pilots.

Sorry you are wrong...The oath you take is first and foremost to defend the constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. You might want to read the constitution so that you know whether or not the orders you are receiving are lawful and that the people giving you those orders aren't domestic enemies of the constitution. Because if the orders you are receiving are against the constitution, and you obey them, then you yourself have ALSO become a domestic enemy to the constitution....

Not exactly... we won because we proved to the world with nagasaki and hiroshima that no one stood a chance opposing us.

Had hitler not made the mistake of invading Russia during winter, there probably would've been a third and fourth example in Germany...

Japan had lost by then. The only question was whether you ended quickly by nukes or risked losing a million people in a invasion of Japan that we would have won anyway as there no no chance of them fighting off the USA/UK/Australia and Russia not when every industrial centre was bombed to #.

And the fact is Germany DID invade Russia. And Germany was defeated as part of a allied effort.
