Ghosts

Wow guys! Thanks for all your great stories.

And since I was new at this thing when I made this post, I didn't know that I could have emails sent to me of reply's. So ya, I didn't read all these great stories until today.

When I was little I think we may have lived in a haunted house too. We used to play Quija Board a lot and one day the kitchen curtains started flying around like crazy when there was no wind outside ... I never played Quija Board again. One night when a friend of ours slept over, something was pulling our hair. My brother swore things happened to him too.

My nephew could not sleep one night because he swore that the eyes of a painting on the wall were moving. I know that children have an over active imagination and so I guess I just wonder if sometimes that's what was happening with me.

I posted this about 4 months ago on a messageboard I belong to. This was about 2 months after everything started. Luckily, the bad entity mentioned here is gone.

I am a longtime believer in the paranormal. Not only ghosts, but ufos, aliens and the like. But I have only seen pictures and read books. No real contact I could put my finger on. Until this week.

My wife an our roommate have been noticing a few strange things, but until last night, never mentioned them. But there have been a few instances of lights turning on by themselves. Our new dog has been acting strange pulling on my wifes arm as though he is trying to show her something, and he will NOT enter our bedroom. If he gets close, he places his tail between his legs and runs off.

Last night was the worst. I am a 25 year old male, basically fearless. I headed upstairs for my nightly guitar playing, and the dog whined as though trying to keep me from going upstairs. But I went anyway.

I was in my bedroom about 5 minutes and saw a "hazy shadow like" reflection go over one window. This reflection I saw in a TV that was turned off, as I was listening to the CD player while playing my guitar. I played it off thinking it was a bird flying by the window, or something of that nature. The time was about 7:15 PM. I will never forget what happened next. I felt as though someone had placed their hand on my shoulder. This was impossible, as I was the only one in the room, the door was shut, and I face it the whole time I play my guitar everytime. Shivers went down my spine and the hair stood on the back of my neck. I can't describe the feeling, but it was as though someone or something was sucking the air out of my lungs. I looked up at the TV again, and saw my reflection, but there was something else there. I took one step toward the TV so my reflection would move and so I could get a better look at what was there. This "thing" also moved, but in a different direction. I moved to the left, it moved to the right. I gripping feeling went through my body. I had the distinct impression that this "presence" was not happy. Maybe even threatening.

The reflection looked to be a human shape, however, I could see no facial features. It was like a reflection of a shadow. But with it behind me, and me being 5' 11", I could only assume this "shadow" was between 5' 9" and 6' 1" as I was slightly hunched over while playing guitar, and "it" was slightly taller than I. This is the only time in my life I have been afraid for my life.

I have a digital camera, and was wondering if I take some pictures and find anything anomolous in them, if I may be able to send a few to you for analysis. I have had photos (both film and digital) in my home that had orbs. But I think if I try this, I may get more than orbs now.

Now since then, I have taken many photos with "things" in them. I have heard voices. I have a female that talks to me from time to time. I have a little girl who plays in the woods behind my home. She also uses the swing in my back yard. And we still have many shadows, cold spots and parnksters that knock walk and move things around.

But things have been quiet lately. Kinda miss it.

Ghosts have followed me around from house to house since I was a little kid. I've read websites saying they are attracted to people who possess psychic abilities, and I am a little psychic. Common phenomena in my house:

whisperings
tappings
bangings
giggling
shadows moving about
glowing orbs zipping about
scratchings
feelings of being followed/watched
something calling names of family members. An interesting thing about this: something called out, "Mom!" once, and my mom said, "What? Crystal?" thinking it was me. But it wasn't. And I heard it too, at the same time.

Other misc. stuff of significance:

one night as I was reading, something shoved my mattress forward

One day as I was leaving for work, I heard breaking glass. I thought that the cat had knocked dishes off the shelf again, but when I went into the kitchen, nothing was there.

Something tampering with the radio while it's on

something slapped my sister when she was little

my sister reported "dark people" walking around the house

A loud grinding noise coming from the attic at regular intervals. My mom almost had a heart attack; she thought it was the wiring about to catch on fire. She called my dad, who climbed into the attic, but he couldn't hear the sound at all inside the attic. The source of the noise was never discovered.

I'm psychic as well; However, my gift is different. I can't see or hear ghosts. I just know whether or not they're around. I currently live in Okinawa, and I can attest to the fact that Okinawa is a very haunted island. I have to agree with Magestica. I've noticed that there is a trend when it comes to renting out houses. I live off base as well, and I've noticed that if a house is haunted they will only rent "those" houses to Americans. Once Okinawan people realize that a house is haunted no Okinawan person will move into it. I live in nice Japanese style house, and I wondered why no japanese lived in it. I figured it was because the owner wanted to make more money by renting it out to an american. After being in this house for a few months now I feel that this house is haunted. It doesn't bother me though.
About a year ago, I was hanging out with my friends, and I asked them if there dog ever went into there basement. Jaime said, "No. He's afraid to go down there." About 2 months later Jaime and I were talking and he told me an interesting story about his mother-in-law. She came to visit, and she told Dolly (her daughter) that there was an energy in their basement. It felt like fear. Which is what I got as well when I went down there. If you'd like to hear more stories just let me know.

Ghosts, meaning they are stuck here because they refuse to go on or don't realize or refuse to realize they are dead (also when drugs or suicide and tramatic death occurs - they seem to get stuck in the strange cloudy haze/thinking(?) and are unaware of what's going on).

Anyway - yes, I believe so. No speaking or seemingly even noticing that I was there. All 3 times I saw it, it was in the same place, wlaking in the same direction ect.

The ones who are not 'ghosts', but energies - they are aware of you and intereact.
