You're free to have an opinion of Raelism but to call it a "cult" is just a convenient way to condescend it.

It's a really esoteric religion for sure but it is not a cult.

People spend decades on televition shows computer games and other activities that same may regret after decades , so i dont see any diffrence in same cult/esoteric religion/bridge club or any other hobbies.

Think about what you got out of it that were worth the time at the time , and move on to other equally time/attention/moeny grabing activity.
