I would LOVE to see China go into Syria and just take it over. That would be awesome.

Repression of Muslims within the borders of China will eventually result in an interior ISIS problem for China that they wont be able to handle.

Who's to say that the recent explosion of the plant in China wasn't actually Pro-ISIS supporters but was covered up by the Chinese government to keep outsiders from wanting more information?

LOL. You really think that China cannot handle an interior ISIS problem?

China is a totalitarian state, and yes, terror might occur. But it wouldn't be long. The chinese government isn't exactly known to be shy with guns.

What if ISIS were disguised as millions of disenfranchised Chinese people using a metaphorical cause for another effect (terrorism).

The difference and difficulty is, the countries fighting ISIS fight with a conscience to the best of their ability and are avoiding at all costs innocent lives, Jihadists have no such conscience.

That's just propaganda. The main reason we fight that way though is we don't want to control the area, we want to put others into power to control it. That means we need a reputation for helping citizens rather than killing them, if anyone we're going to support is going to stay in power.

If we were fighting with the goal of subjugating the populace we could fight like ISIS, or the VC, or the Japanese, or even the Germans. Personally, I like that we're not acting that depraved, but really we're only doing so because it offers an advantage for the strategy we're using.

Some leader in the world is playing both sides for ultimate control. It’s the Star Wars saga in the making. Everyone knows the dual role of the guy below.

Supreme Chancellor Palpatine

Darth Sidious

The fear in the 20's was alcohol and eventually gangsters. Remember prohibition?

This looks like the battle of Armageddon in the bible?

Anyone else thinks so?

I was going to say Albert Pike, but that's been debunked. Sure seems like it might come to pass though.

What I'll say is that this is a new type of war, and we're losing badly. By all appearances we don't even know how to fight it. It's a war of ideology, there's essentially unlimited resources (people and materials) to create low budget attacks. Physical retaliation just swells their numbers, but doing nothing does nothing to stop their crazy ideology. Killing them all doesn't work, and killing all the bad guys just creates new bad guys, while sending refugees to our cities.

Billions on fighter jets, satellite surveillance, drones, eavesdropping, tanks, and other stuff and it's all basically useless. All that gear simply encourages more to fight against us.

China will join the war on ISIS after four of its citizens were killed by Islamist terror groups in two separate attacks last week.

The vow comes after ISIS claimed to have killed Beijing man Fan Jinghui, 50, alongside Norwegian national Ole Johan Grimsgaard-Ofstad, 48, who were feared to have been taken hostage in September.

Chinese President Xi Jinping: "China will strengthen cooperation with the international community, resolutely crack down on violent terrorist operations that devastate innocent lives and safeguard world peace and security."

Chin a declares war on ISIS after terrorists claim to have executed Chinese hostage

Looks like china will now be officialy entering the fray.

To what extent who knows?

But if the UN votes for joint action now I dont see anyone useing there veto power unless its the USA.
France will be in, Russia in, China now, UK will be in. So that just leaves the US of A and were they will stand.

You have to give ISIS one thing, they keep there foreign policy very simple. War with everyone. Bet they save a fortune on Embassy costs!

Cant see them surviving if they piss off the entire world.

Which leaves the queations who is suppprting them? And we all know that...the Saudis!

China works silently on such matters, sorry but the world won't know what they are up too, just like the CIA, it's no ones business. But yes, China will move in with the calmness of the blowing winds where you can't see or here them.
